Chapter 7 - What's going on, here?! (flashy GIF warning)

Hey, peeps! I am soo excited for this chapter! Not only was this MASSIVELY rewritten, but I also have some custom art FINALLY done! Technically, it's kind of custom art, but not for this chapter. I still wanted to put it in here, because I loved working on the picture. Reporter Woman: "Breaking News! Four gaming YouTubers across the globe have been simultaneously taken to their hospitals for a strange symptom. Reports from the YouTubers state that they have been attacked by a 'black slime' that came and attacked them, causing them to momentarily turn into 'evil versions of themselves' and puking out the substance later and passing out. Also, from recent medical reports, the YouTubers seem to be in average health, except for one concerning thing....half of their hearts, according to x-rays, are missing, yet they're still functioning like normal."

A man living in the States was watching the new on his laptop. He was in his mid 30s, had curly dark brown hair and baggy brown eyes, and wore casual clothing. Also, he had a very strong French accent. He quickly shut the laptop off and shuddered at the thought of what he read and saw...

Man: "...This is unreal...how could this have happened? Who could've done this? It's impossible for these things to have appeared out of thin air, somebody was behind this. Surely, it wasn't...no, it couldn't be, I haven't seen him in 6 years, just because he has a hatred for YouTubers...right?"

(meanwhile, with the YouTubers...)

Poor Jack, Mark, Felix, and Jordan were in hospitals near their homes, feeling very ill and unusual. Since Sam was septic, they had to keep him in a special tank away from patients, and Tim was kept next to Mark's window, fast asleep. Everyone's computers were still functioning properly, thanks to all the anti-virus programs, but they can't bring giant desktops to the hospital; their phones, however, were corrupted, so they had to rely on phones from family and friends to let their fans know of their condition. In Jack, Mark, and Felix's case, they were also using the phones to contact each other.

Jack/Sean: "Hello?"

Mark and Felix: "Hey, Jack..."

Jack/Sean: "Any of you feeling any better? I'm not."

Mark: "Nope."

Pewds/Felix: "I wouldn't be calling you off of Marzia's phone if I was fine."

The three talked together to figure out what was going on, and why this happened: so far, all they got was that at around they all got possessed on October 1, and that this couldn't be a coincidence...and that was it so far.

Pewds/Felix: "Hey, do you guys know this 'VenturianTale' guy?"

Mark: "Nope."

Jack/Sean: "He must be a small YouTuber, because I never fookin' heard of 'em."

Mark: "Googling them right now...aw, so it seems like it's a group channel, like the Game Grumps."

Jack/Sean: "Ok, while Mark looks for information about them, I'm gonna try to find someone who can help us in our situation, a scientist probably."

Pewds/Felix: "What about me?"

Jack/Sean: "Look for their social media and DM them."

Pewds/Felix: "K..."

(meanwhile in Indiana...)

Jordan's mom and siblings came in to see how he was doing; while he was awake, he looked very ill and exhausted.
