Bruises do heal. A week ago today I thought they never would. Looking at a H&M skirt now almost brings tears to my eyes. But bruises heal. Tanya wouldn't let up about the interview, yes it had gone well, but it wasn't worth her excitement. She even too me to Olive Garden, we both giggled about how fake high-class restaurant was and end of the night in the same bed. It felt like God was giving me one last day with the Tanya I fell in love with. Then again only I knew i'd be gone in the morning. The interview hadn't gone well, it had gone perfectly, it was my ticket the hell out of Brooklyn.  Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services in Birmingham, Alabama, was her golden ticket. And she was not only going to visit Willy Wonka but take over the whole damn Factory. The hallway was colorful and bright but that couldn't hold the descending gloom, it was cold and hard. Ashanti breathed in the hard air, it was stale in the hallway and smelled like bleach, not like any other hospital she had worked at.
