What do you mean, an hour ago?

Finally I have another idea for a chapter for this book! It's gonna be long..! So yah, Enjoy!!!

*Mikaela's POV*

"So uh, What do we do now?! Jenna is usually the group leader!!!" I yell as I pace around Mary's room. Mary says to me "Just chill ok? It will all be fine." But I couldn't take it. I collapsed in a heap on her floor, and started to cry. "I can't chill!" I exclaimed to her. "Cadence isn't even here and Jenna has completely disappeared!!! Maybe getting these necklaces was a bad idea... Like a VERY, bad idea!" Mary glared at me. It was like she was all for this necklace idea! "Mikaela, take a chill pill! It will all be ok. And btw, Cadence is at a birthday party for her cousin DON'T WORRY!!!" I looked at her with tears streaming down my face, but all she did was smile. "Ok, I'll try to at least have a bit of fun today." Mary smiled even more. "Thats the spirit!" We laughed for a bit, but then we realized we REALLY have to find Jenna.

*Jenna's POV*

Its getting dark. The sun is starting to set over the Northern Atlantic Ocean. I've got nowhere to stay, no food to eat, and no water to drink. I don't even know what this place is called!!!

*Mikaela's POV*

"Where should we start to look for her?" I asked Mary as I continue to brush my hair. She replied with "I have no idea! But we should get Cadence first if anything." "Thats a great idea!!!" I say back. "Now... Where was this 'Birthday Party' again?" Mary looks at me puzzled. I don't think she knew either. Not good, not good. "Lets go to her house and see if her mom knows anything."

We had finally made it to her house, and we knocked on her door. But, nobody answered. There was a letter on her front door step though! "Hey, this might lead us to where she is!!!" I say to Mary as I pick it up. It was in fact not a letter, but the invitation to the party she was at!!! "Mary check it out!" She heard me and came right over (she was guarding our bikes). "It's the party invitation for Cadence's cousins party!" "Oh give me that" she said as she snatched the invitation out of my hands. She studied it for a few minutes, and then said "Off to Laser Quest we go!" So we ran to our bikes, and peddled away.

Just when we thought we had made it there, it turns out we were at the wrong place. Discouraged, I threw down my bike and sat down on the curb ready to cry. "I don't get it!" I said "This is where the invitation said to go!" Mary saw my discontent, and pulled something out of her bag. "Recognize this?" She said, handing the 'something' to me. "You took the invitation?" I said between sniffs. Mary smiled. "Yup, i thought we would get lost sooner or later!" I laughed. But then i noticed the address, and immediately started crying again. "Mary... This Laser Quest Center is across town... We need to go North not South!!!" she sat down beside be, took the invitation, and stuffed it back in her bag. "Well what are we waiting for?" she said. "Lets go across town!!!" oh how I love this girl's enthusiasm! "Eh, its worth a shot" I say as I pick up my bike, and peddle off into the distance with her.

"Please be the right place please be the right place!" I say as i cross my fingers, hoping for this to be the actual Laser Quest place. Mary says to me "Mikaela, open your eyes, we're here!" With that I opened my eyes. A huge smile ran across my face as i screamed "WE'RE HERE WE'RE HERE! WE'RE FINALLY HERE!!!" Mary laughed. "Come on silly lets go inside." Mary said to me as she opened the door. When we got inside we asked the cash lady if they had seen a birthday party group under the name Rentwood but instead of saying 'Yes their in playing right now' she said "Sorry ladies, they left an hour ago." Our faces went pale. "A, an hour ago? What do you mean an hour ago?!?!?! I will not stand for this GET THEM BACK HERE I DE-" But before i could finish I felt Mary's hand cupped over my mouth. "Phdm Pfft Granxr" i muffled, but nobody understood me. "Put a sock in it Mikaela" I heard Mary whisper into my ear. "Thank you for helping us. Sorry about my friend she is a hit overwhelmed today. Have a good day!" Mary said before dragging me out of the Laser Quest Center.

"What were you thinking?!" Mary said to me once we were outside. "Im sorry I'm under so much stress right now. I miss Jenna!" I said, tears reaching my eyes as I spoke. Mary looked at me sympathetically and said "I miss her too Mikaela. We all do! We're going to find her don't worry. But right now, we need to get Cadence!" I lifted my head off her shoulder and wiped my tears away. "Your right" I said. "Lets go get Cadence, we need her help." And with that, we were off.

Woo hoo! I'm on a roll!!! That was the longest chapter I've ever wrote! I have a good feeling about this book. So yah! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will see you in my next one! SNUFFLEZ OUTIE OUT!!!
