||Nagisa's Point of View||

Once Kayano and I settled (Y/N) down, I sighed and sat back down. What just happened? I took a moment to replay everything that went on and soon drilled it into my head. Right. Karma hurt Korosensei again... and (Y/N) and Karma started some sort of quarrel...

 Karma is extremely quick-witted. Like just now. He saw there was a line Korosensei couldn't cross without losing his "teacherness,"  and the tactics he uses make him toe that line.

He has the smarts to see the heart of the matter, and the skills to manipulate just about anyone, but he uses them to clash with people.

After everything was settled, class was back to normal.

"Do you think (Y/N) and Karma have some sort of past?" I heard Kayano whisper to me with a hint of concern in her voice. I set a finger over my lip in thought. "Maybe? I'm unsure." I responded quietly, looking for an answer with past evidence.

When (Y/N) first seen Karma, she seemed surprised, yet confused as far as I remember. Like she was solving a puzzle or something. It was kind of hard to decipher their first impressions on each other, but considering the little fight between those two earlier, maybe they aren't on good terms...? Ah, why do I bother? It's not my business whether (Y/N) and Karma were on aquatinted or not. Behind me, I hear mumbling and I look back to see (Y/N) with her head down. I couldn't tell if she was upset or disgruntled. I mentally noted that I should check up on her later, just in case.

||(Y/N)'s Point of View||

It was now after class, and I was told by Korosensei himself to meet him in the lounge. Not looking forward to a lecture, I looked at the ground as I walked, ashamed of myself for my actions. Although, looking down was such a stupid idea, because accidentally, I bumped into someone like an idiot. "Oh, s-sorry!" I said, looking up at the poor person I rammed my head into. I stare into a familiar pair of ocean blue eyes. "It's no problem, (Y/N)." Nagisa smiled softly, being the person I bumped into. I felt a small hint of heat rise in my cheeks, but ignored it.

"Oh, hey, are you okay, by the way? You seemed to have been bothered after what just happened." He gave me a concerned look, which made me frown a bit. I looked away to avoid his gaze, but answered, nonetheless in an uncomfortable tone. "I'm fine... Just old memories."

Out of my peripheral vision, I spotted him frown as well and tilt his head slightly, not feeling to great about my response. I then look back at him as soon as his head turned away slightly. "Hey, I'm sorry, for lashing out in front of you guys. It was... not very mentor-like of me. Especially on the new student. I didn't expect going as far as...threatening someone..." I rubbed my arm in shame. "Hey, we all break sometimes. It sure was brave of you to even step up to Karma like that. I don't think anyone would've done anything to stop him." He patted my shoulder lightly in a friendly manner and smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back.

"Well, I should go. Korosensei wants to talk to me. See you tomorrow, okay?" I turned my body towards the direction I needed to go and wave Nagisa goodbye. "Yep, bye." He replied and waved goodbye as well. He soon caught up to Sugino, while I made my way to the teachers lounge.

I entered the lounge and awaited for the creature teacher to arrive and lecture me about today.

After I finished up a small conversation with (Y/N), making sure she was alright, etc., Sugino and I walked to the train station and began chatting.

"Man, that was a tense moment between Karma and (Y/N)." He stated. "Yeah, but I don't think it was that big of a deal," I began, backing up (Y/N). "She was only trying to stop the original tension between Korosensei and Karma." "Yeah, but she was threatening him!" He added. "She probably got carried away." I countered. "Why would she even stand up for that octopus anyway? She does remember he's our target, right?" "Maybe she just felt uncomfortable with Karma's terrorizing."

"Why are you so defensive of her?" Sugino teased with a smirk as we stopped in front of the Kunugigoaka Station. I felt my face flush and started to get even more defensive. "Why not? Someone should take her side." Sugino's smirk disappeared and turned into an excited grin. "You like her, don't you!" He exclaimed, making me want to shush him. My face grew warmer as I stuttered, "N-no I don't! Cut it out..." I looked to the side shyly and began fidgeting with my fingers. He then patted my shoulder. "Sure, what ever you say, buster!"

We both began to laugh away the subject. "Well, I should get going. See ya, Nagisa!" He waved as he started away from the station. "Yep! See you tomorrow!"  I called and waved back before going about my business. Not a second after I say goodbye to my classmate i here someone mention me. "Hey, look! It's Nagisa!"

Off to the side were a couple of kids nearby from a higher class. "He must be right at home down in E Class." I heard one of them say. "What a lamer. He'll never make it out of there unless he shapes up." I listen with a downed expression as they continue to gossip about me. "Plus, now that Akabane's back from suspension, he's in E Class too!" "That's the pits! I would seriously rather die than wind up there."

As I was soon being consumed by there words about me, I hear the the sound of class breaking and startled gasps from the two gossiping student behind me. "Really? You'd rather die?" The familiar voice rung through my ears, and I turned around to see the redhead himself. "How about right now, then?"

"Akabane!" One of them stuttered before both of them ran off, terrified. Karma chuckled and threw the broken bottle he bashed against the pillar and used to threaten the two students to the side. "Like I'd actually do it. Who'd want another suspension after discovering such a wonderful plaything?" He said, stuffing his hands back in his pockets as he looked back at me. "So listen, Nagisa, there's something I wanted to ask you." He came up to me. We soon started discussing the topic of information on Korosensei as we went inside the train station. He asked me if her got mad if we called him an octopus, which I assumed was because he was thinking of ways to bully Korosensei again.

I had told him that it was quiet the opposite and that he basically bases himself as an octopus. It was like his trademark. "That so? Hmm. A silly idea just crossed my mind." He set a loose fist up to his lip as if he was planning something. I asked what he was up to and he responded with, "I'm just happy. I was wondering what I'd do if he were just some monster, but turns out he's an actual teacher." Dramatically, he turned around toward me, and a train had just past behind him coincidentally and spoke once more with a sadistic and terrorizing tone. "So I finally get to kill an actual teacher." He then giggled and added,

"I mean, after the last one up and died on me."

Oooh boi, sorry guys! I didn't mean to ditch you after I said this chapter was coming soon. I was almost finished with it until I was distracted with the holidays coming up. I'll see if I can do a Halloween or Thanksgiving special soon, but probably not.

Oh yeah, happy  (verrryyyy) belated Halloween and Thanksgiving! I hope you guys had a good month or two while I was away! I'm going to end this Author's note here and head to bed, seeing I just finished this up at 11:20 at night and I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago lol.
