mir·ror
/ˈmirər/
noun
1. a reflective surface.
A mirror is used for different things. Such as telescopes and lasers, cameras, big machinery, and most importantly to look at ones self. Now you see the word camera correct well....
Our eyes are like cameras, when we see something we try to remember the looks of it, the color, the texture, even the smallest bit of detail. It's just how our eyes work. Our eyes see what we want to see, and what we see is what we imagine. They are what help bring our imagination to life. Without them, our imagination isn't as big and isn't as colorful. But.... What if when we look in the mirror it's what we want our selves to look like but to other people we look way different. Our eyes can't tell the difference.
The mirror is just a reflection of what we think we look like... but what if we look nothing like what we see... our brain is playing tricks and is showing us a picture of something we think we look like.
When our eyes see how other people look, and how they act what if that's what a mirror does to us. Each person has something unique about them, so we give our selves something unique, something to look at in our selves.
We all have look into a mirror and tried so see if you can see with your own eyes, the mirrored version of you move differently then how you move. But since it's a mirror you can't, because it isn't real. When you break a mirror, you can still see in it right? No and yes. No because it's broken, what we were looking through is no longer one whole piece, it was easy for us to see the whole thing but now it's in little pieces making it harder to. Yes because even though they are little, there is still a piece of us stuck inside. But since it's broken you can't see your self clearly. And so now what if that broken mirror holds a piece of you that you love about yourself. You loved looking at that piece and now that the mirror is broken, you either throw it away or forget about that piece. Just the mirror.
The mirror is a window of opportunity. We make changes to our self looking at it. Looking at a reflection of what we see. Our eyes are being mirrored.
Can we actually remember what we look like without having to go to a mirror. Not really. We always have to see what we look like just incase something has changed. Even if our appearance doesn't change we can't feel or see it for ourselves, without looking at our reflection. Without a mirror we rely on our friends or family to tell us if something has changed or tell us what we look like through there eyes. And for them it's the same. We rely on others to tell us what we look like....And that is how our feelings get hurt.
| I hope you enjoyed this one, it's more of a deep thought that gets a person thinking to themselves. I over think a lot and so I type a summary of what it is and then right a full thing on it. But I hope you enjoyed The Mirror|
