Vivi X Reader: The Ribbon

I was listening to the song 'when he sees me' when I came up with this idea. I imagine that the reader would sing this song to Arthur and mystery, singing about Vivi.

P.O.V - (Y/n)

Vivi held my wrist, dragging me into a room of strangers. She and I had been friends and roommates threw out all of middle and high school. I was always the reason for the friendship keeping Vivi out of trouble and not getting her arrested, which almost happened many times.

Today however she called me, said that she was going to a party and asked me to be her plus 1, I agreed. She also said that her friend from her paranormal hunting gang would be coming too. When we entered the party she introduced me to them.

There was Arthur, the boy was very jittery and cowardly which confused me on why he joined a ghost-hunting gang. Mystery, a white dog with small glassed on his snout we got along very well. And Lewis, the purple ghost giant my feelings towards his was very conflicted. It was like a normal party until someone suggested we play 7 minutes in heaven and everyone agreed.

"OK... now, who wants to go first?" NV (me) said while holding the hat with all our items in. After no response she grumbled and said "fine, I'll just pick than...hmm... You!" she said pointing to me with a grin. I sighed and stood up walking to the hat, picking an item out of it.

I pulled out a blue ribbon, wait... This is Vivi's ribbon! My face heated up, I had to admit I did have a crush on the girl. But she wouldn't like me, a cold, shut-in, no fun, teacher's pet that can't handle getting a question wrong! Could she?

"V-Vivi? I assume this is yours?" I try not to shutter as she walked up to me "Yup!" she took the ribbon slightly grassing my hand before putting it back in her hair "let's go!" she grabbed my hand and pulled me into the closet. It was smaller then I thought and it was cluttered.

"h-hey Vivi? I uh, have something to get of my chest... If you don't mind?" I said looking away with a burning red face "ya shore (Y/n) shoot?" she looked at me with a smile. "w-well I uhh..." I paused and closed my eyes "well... I... kinda, maybe, sorta, possibly like you?" I slightly opened my eye to see for her reaction. She had the biggest smile on her face and before I knew it Vivi kissed me!

Her soft lips met mine, the kiss was gentle but all so perfect aswell. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I did her waist, our lips were like connecting puzzles pieces cupped perfectly. She tasted sweet but not sickeningly so. It was perfect, this was perfect, she was perfect~. We soon had to breathe and broke the kiss, panting.

"... I uhh Uhm..." I was at a loss for words, what just happened? Vivi buried her face in the crook of my neck and mumbled an "I like you too." in it, which made me redder. We just stood there for the rest of the 7 minutes in our little world. Forever together for now on, Best party ever.

~Extended Ending~

After I carried the sleeping blue-haired girl out of the closest I sat her down in her chair. NV looked at me with a satisfied grin on her face, I gave her a deadpan look and said.

"you should clean up that closet of yours." and sat down for the next round.
