She squinted and the clock, trying to see how much time she had left.

Sighing, she turned back to her work. The words on the exam blurred and swirled in her mind in a confusing mess. She clicked her pen to retract the ballpoint.

"Think!" she wanted to scream at herself. She wasn't going to waste all her effort because of one dumb word.

She clicked her pen and crossed off the letters she had scribbled

Finally, she crossed out the word for the last time and decided to move on.
