Last Step

I was running through the corridor.I was near the exit suddenly 

The door on my left flew. I was stunned because it almost hit me. I rest my back to the wall behind me. To erase the fear I'am feeling right now.

Then I saw my Science teacher slowly went outside the classroom.

He was staring at me blankly. His eyes were pure black. Then he began to run towards me.

I manage to dodge his punch and fell on the floor. It hit the locker.To my surprise the locker was wrecked.

I was shocked, I couldn't move my body. I couldn't get myself to stand up and run.Then he looked at my direction When he's hand was about to hit me A boy protected me . He defended himself  using his halberd. He pushed my Teacher away from him. 

"If youre gonna let yourself die while fighting then I'll let you , But get die because your afraid to fight is not a reasonable excuse." He said in a serious tone.

"Who are you ?" I asked while I'm still sitting on the floor.

He didn't answer instead he attacked my teacher using his weapon. The halberd slid to my Science Teacher's body.

Blood was gushing to the floor , the Boy that protected me just killed my teacher!. He just stand there staring at my Teacher's body. I cant take this anymore. i can feel that my temperature is rising. My head hurts/ Then suddenly it all became black

BOY's POV

"Another divergent is destroyed brother" I said while looking how another divergent turns into ash.

"Good job now get back here and bring that girl too." he commanded.

" Copy that " I answered then turned off the tiny microphone. "Hey lets go " I said but when I look behind the Girl fainted.

Ugh now I'm gonna have to carry her. I have no choice.

I manage to lug her to my car outside the exit of the school. Gently placed her unconscious body to the passenger seat. Then drove back to our hide out.

"He-Help me please" she said

Is she having a nightmare? I was worried so I wake her up

"hey wake up!" I called out 

Then slowly she opened her eyes and tears started to fall. "You're having a nightmare ,You okay?" I asked "Eh? I'm fine don't worry " she said

"What was your dream about?" I asked

"There were people dying in various ways.They were calling me with their last breath. I was scared. I..I can't remember the rest" She was trembling.

"Its okay nobody is going to die " I assured her

 "I..I hope so"She said

After another hour we reached our destination. Its a 5 story high building like an apartment ...

I escorted her inside.

"Uh-mm where are we? " she asked

"Just follow me"I said  while walking inside the elevator then after a few seconds she followed me.

The building is old. All the sculptures around the hallway are broken. The whole place is full of dust.

Back then it was the most famous building here in San Francisco but now its nothing but a haunted building for me..

We were both inside the elevator then i pushed the button going to the 3rd floor.

"Hey .. Its creepy in here " She said

"Don't worry I'm here, I'll protect you" I said then she looked away ..

Did I say something wrong? I asked myself

Then we went out the elevator and go straight to room 469

I slowly open the door. Then all of them were pointing their weapons at me .

"Whoa! hold your horses ! Its me ! How dare you, trying to kill the most adorable guy in the world !" I shouted

"I would kill you right now if you say another word about how handsome you are!" Sky said with a sarcastic look

"Well aren't you gonna introduce us to the beautiful lady?"Neon said while staring at the girl behind me.

"Hey! don't stare at her like that ! Your scaring her !"Colin said

"Okay okay fine" I said

I let the girl inside our room .. Well our room is better or  should i say its the best room in this abandoned building .

Elise's Pov

That was quite a shock..

Seeing all of them pointing their weapons on us. Good thing I didn't run or it will be the most embarrassing thing I've made in my whole life 

"I'm Fred 16 years old " He was the one who saved me a while ago

"Sky 15 " The girl with the glasses said

"Hello my lady Colin at your service"He kissed my right hand

"And Neon too " Then Neon kissed my left hand

" Both of you stop harassing her !" A blonde boy pinched both of Colin and Neon's ear.

"Hi I'm Lorraine and I'm 14 ! nice to meet you ! uh-mm miss?" She was waiting for me to answer

"Oh ! Elise my name is Elise Castro 16 years old" I said.

"I'm Day and this is my brother Knight " A girl with dark hair and blue eyes said - Day

and his brother has black hair and blue eyes too must be twin.

"And I'am Tracy 20 years old .. And where did you came from?" She asked . She was wearing a black shirt and pants and snickers.

"I'm from the Light City and I'm part of the Resurrection" I said

"Really? Well there is only one thing to know if you are telling us the truth" Tracy said

"Does she really have to do that?" Fred asked

"Do what?"Then suddenly Colin placed a handkerchief on my face .

I'm feeling dizzy What is this??.

I woked up and saw myself inside a room. There were no doors.

How will I get out ?

"Okay all you have to do is to use your skills to get out of this room"Tracy said.
