She stood at the front of a crowded bus on a journey to nowhere and everywhere.

Head hung low, afraid to stand out even the slightest bit.

Eyes glued to her phone that showed nothing but a blank screen. Waiting for a message that would never come.

Everyone knew her name.

But nobody saw her for who she was.

She tried her best to blend in.

Wouldn't you?

The journey felt long as she felt many pairs of eyes upon her, each burning a hole into her skull.

She grabbed a pole to help her stand and she moves around it slightly as if trying to hide from those eyes.

Paranoia washed over her.

As no one was looking at her.

No one was burning those holes.

Well....

There was one pair of eyes.

Mine.

But I wasn't burning holes really.

I was wondering why she had chosen to stand.

I sent her a message asking if she'd like to sit.

But we are in the middle of nowhere.

That message wouldn't be seen till we reached somewhere.

She would have to stand.

I had not the courage to call her name.

What if she didn't hear me?

What if everyone else looked?

After all.....

We are on a full bus.

To everywhere and nowhere.

This story was written literally as it sounds guys, currently I'm on a bus and I tried asking her if she'd like to sit by me but there's no signal. Lol.
I hope you enjoyed it, I think it sounded nice but who knows.
See ya in the next one
