I think of you everyday
Tell me again, why did you have to go away?

Why did our paths have to stray...
... And leave one-another; together only in memory

Did we not see the warning signs, the signals, and the calmness in the ocean?
Did we go through the proper channels and the rights and motions?

Why does the things in life that hurts, linger and stain. ..
Why is it so hard to iron-out the creases life puts in your brain. ..
Why are these life-cycles so easy to sustain. ..
.. .could it be that it was all supposed to happen, in the end(?)
. ..could it be that the cycles are turning 'round again(?)
