I walk down the halls of "hell" or school whichever you would prefer to call it, my hair bouncing behind me. I listen to my music blaring into my ears.
You can set yourself on fire, but you're never gonna burn, burn, burn, and I said woah it's crazy equals genius.
I mumble the words as I approach my locker, I have math first class, I go to history for fourth class, I feel someone tap my shoulder and I turn around quickly to see my best friend, she smiles and I take one of my earbuds out.
"Hey!" She exclaimed, I smiled "hey".
She quickly answered "I have news!" I take out my other earbud "alrighty, tell me!"
"A-A-Alex likes you!" I looked her up and down then laughed "pffffffft, foster?"
She nodded excitedly, I rolled my eyes. "Avery, no he doesn't, plus I told you I'm not interested in any "jocks" not after jake"
She smiled "from State Farm?" My palm moves to my forehead and she giggles. "No, but if that floats your boat" I laughed.
As soon as I said that Alex walked by and gave me a smirk. I rolled my eyes and looked back at Avery "see?! Lilly, he does like you! Almost everyone knows!"
"Whatever" I said and took my math text book out of my locker. "Wait, isn't he still with Katrina?" I asked turning to her "uh, no they broke up like one month ago, where have you been?" She laughed and looked at the ground.
I giggled, "I have to go to class" I said and closed my locker "alright see you Lilly!" She called as I started to walk away.
