Chemistry ︱ Teacher!Jungkook x Reader

Chapter 1

My name is Y/N, and I am in assembly at school. Our teachers told us the principal's speech would be really important, but as usual the wait was boring so my friends Isabelle and Margaret and Olga are sat next to me in the same row. We were chatting about some fangirl things.

"Shush guys. Our principal is here!!" yelled Olga.

So we looked to the front. Our principal, with his shiny bald head and stern expresión looking daggers at some loud guys in the back said "Thank you all for coming today. Your attendance has been ourstanding so far. However I came to inform you of a new programme our school has participated in."

"We have decided to participate in the Korea Teacher Exchange system which is a system that lets Korean teaching staff come here to give you a different flavour for learning," he explained in great detail. "So far we have managed to aqire a chemistry teacher for your year. You may introduce yourself" he whispered to someone out of our sights.

A tall, dark-haired young man walked to the front of the stage. His hair was black and had a side part in the middle, he looked down as his chiseled jaw was clear as day as his toned, smooth skinned figure stood in front of us as his eyes made contact with the crowd of silent suttents. He looked up I coudln't quite make out his features as I was far behind on his seats. Was he young? Was he old? Where was he from? Did he speak good Engles? Thoughts were dizzying in my head as my curiousity peAked. What I did know, though, is that he had a very charming smile. And it was in my direction!!

"Welcome Your/School" he said with a young yet low voice. "It is a pleasure to be here. Please treat me well" and he bowed. My high school is full of sluts and assholes so some people laughed at the back but when a teacher shouted "SETTLE DOWN" the idiots stopped and went red faced. I shook my head in my head.

"Apologies for this" said our quietly principal to the new comer. He only shook his head and smoothly said "it's alright, thank you sir" as he walked back.

"This new chemistry teacher will be given to the top classes, where he will provide a challenging How to spell curricollum What Is Curriculum - definition of curriculum by The Free Dictionary. for you in preparation for your exams."

As I was in the top class for the sciences in my whole school because I was really good at school and I got diagnosed with a high IQ at age 6, my heart fluttered with excitement - everyone will be so jealoss! I could already see Maget's face in a scowl. I felt bad but at the same time I knew they will be possesive of the korean newcomer and would probably start arguments about who will get to ask him what his favourite BTS member is him so I was glad he was in my class, of all!

"That is it for assembly, now please leave in silence" said the principal.

We all filed out of the hall. Me and my friends were giddy with excitement. "He's from Korea! How on EARTH did our school manage to do that!?" squealed Maraget.

"We should ask if he knows BTS," said Olga, (I fucking knew it!) She was a huge Got7 stan (shoutout to ahgases!! annie yong ;;3;;)

"I wish he was going to be in our class, " said Isabelle. She was a huge anime fan, she often watched all sorts of shows and she wants to change her name to Kim Bella-san when she is older. "I thought I saw a guy that looked like him in Deaf Note!"

"I saw a closer look of him as he walked past, he is gorgeous! Those eyes! And the worst part is... he won't even be in our class. " sulked Maguret.

I felt the sadness in her voice pierce me in the silence that followed between us, and I felt a little guilty.

"It's okay guys, I'll let you know of anything that happens!"

"I hope so... don't leave us out, Y/N!"

I still couldn't believe it. All I could think of was my next chemistry lesson with what definitely looked like a handsome stranger - which was tomorrow!
