Five years later, Nova Roma.

"Oh young master!~ Wakey Wakey!~ It's a beautiful daaaayyyy!~" A lecherous, and sweet voice pulled me from my sleep, and I sighed quietly.

"Nooo... Five more minutes..." I pulled the pillows over my head, trying to keep the rapping at my door at a more conceivable level for my half awake mind.

"Very well then. I'lljust grab his majesty from his meeting with the Geyphon King an-!" I felt the whole world jolt, along with my soul as I leapt three feet into the air, and fell into a tangle on the floor. Kicking wildly as I tried to get up.

"NO! Wai-" My ears perked, and I flushed as I heard snickering from behind the door. Growling, I got up and put the sheets back onto the bed, folding them till they were perfect.

I turned and trotted to the door, grabbing ahold of the specially made handle, and flinging it open. Smacking my lips and shivering at the taste of rubber.

"I'm up! Please don't grab my father." I looked upwards and smiled pleadingly. Doing my best to give puppy dog eyes, but immediately frowning, my cheeks radiated pure heat, and my ears tucked themselves away on my head.

Both hind legs slammed together, my right foreleg all but blackening the area above my heart, and I straightened my body to make for the ideal salute, to atone for my... Let's say... "Embarassing," efforts.

"My my! What have we here? A prince saluting a mare?" Said mare gasped, and my cheeks only reddened further as I looked down. Wanting to hide away in a hole somewhere and die.

I felt my chin be raised, and my cheeks all but exploded in solar fury, as I gazed upon the most beautiful mare I'd ever seen.

"Awwwww~ How Cuute!!~" Blossoming Fall smiled playfully, as she cooed at my actions. Causing me to rip my head away from her grasp, and only causing her to giggle harder.

Blossoming Fall was a Unicorn mare with a short, uniformly cropped mane and tail. Both purple in color, but due to her Kirin heritage, she seemed to have red eyeshadow over both eyes.

Which, when paired with the deep gold they both were, gave a simultaneous predatory/alluring appearance. Asides the fact she stood a head above most males and females her age, she seemed to be almost small, due to her mannerisms.

Which in themselves, weren't dulled by the line of duty.

"What do you want Blossom?" I looked up at the mare, and felt my left eye twitch in both embarrassment and anger.

She simply giggled and leaned back to an 'At Ease' kind of posture. A perpetual grin on her Eris blessed face.

"It's time you and the General had an itsy bitsy talk, my prince." Blossoms smile seemed to fade from her eyes, and I shuddered gently. Having forgotten what day it was.

"O-Oh..." I calmed myself and cleared my throat, standing tall and looking Blossom in the eyes. "Then please, lead on."

"Always so polite." Blossom giggled, seeming to bounce back and forth down the hallways as she led. I smiled softly, the red of my cheeks disappearing a bit and allowing me to chuckle. She never changes.

As we headed down the hallway, I took notice of the paintings that dotted each part of the fifteen meter long wall. Smiling appreciatively at the paintings of my ancestors, and the battles they took place in.

Great Grandfather Anca'logia standing against a horde of Mongoleesian archers. grandpa Orion "Bane of Athens" Blaze. Even my favorite! Grandma Snowblind! the woman emperor, caring for the court and empire in grandpa's absence.
