My mother, she is the queen, but I think I deserve her place. She doesn't do anything for this town except watch over people and make sure they're doing as told. She sends people into war, knowing they will die because they do not know how to fight, and they don't because she doesn't allow them to have training. She deserves to die, karma is gonna catch up to her someday, why not now?
As I walk down the steps into the throne room, where my mother is talking to guards. I see a man looking through the glass of the castle. He seems to be an assassin. Mother wouldn't do anything about him anyway, so I didn't say anything about him. I can protect myself anyway.
"What is it, darling?" My mother calls out to me as I sit on the steps.
"Oh, nothing. Uhm, guards, can I talk with my mother in private for a minute?" I ask. They go outside the castle, perfect.
"Mother, which is worse. Living or dying?" I ask with a grin on my face.
"What's this about? Did you find another boy you have become obsessed with or something?" She says while walking closer to a window, but facing away from it.
"Uh, no mother. They last boy died due to an accident."
"Accident, huh? Are you sure? I remember you coming home with some blood on your hands, and the laundry maid said the dress you wore that day had blood stains on it."
"Accusing me of murder again mom?" The moment I asked that, the window she stood by was shattered as that possible assassin jumped through it, knocking my mother down and stabbing her. I only stood with a smirk on my face, watching.
He walked over to me, I wasn't scared at all by him.

"I would leave now before the guards see you

"I would leave now before the guards see you." I said. He handed the knife to me and went back out the window. The guards came back in and saw the aftermath of what took place. My mother made it very clear to all the guards that if I ever did anything like this that no one was allowed to do anything. That I would give them orders. I would be able to rule in her place. That's exactly what I wanted.

(Sorry the first chapter is short, I am listening to music and keep getting distracted as well as didn't know how to continue this chapter. Thanks for reading though.)
