My name is Crystal. I have blonde hair and icy blue eyes, my friend Jade on the other hand has brown hair and green eyes.We have been best friends since I could remember. Our birthday's is also on the same day. Today we are turning 16 this is supposed to be an awesome day where you can just relax and enjoy your day, but sadly you are mistaken. Today may be our sweet 16 but it is anything far from sweet. Today Jade's family came over to our house and both of our parents sat us down.
" Ok girls, we have big news" Jade's mom said.
"So we decided that you should go to a boarding school together!" My mom said, but when she saw the expressions on our faces she continued. Think about it, you two get to live together and make new friends too"
I was furious, no scratch that beyond furious. Who does she think she is, she can't just make me leave my home and my friends and tell me I'm going to a boarding school! Especially on my sweet sixteen!
I looked over to Jade to see how she was taking this. She seemed surprisingly calm. She looked over to me and I raised one eybrow she just gave me the ' I'll tell you later look'.
"Mom we are going to go to my room" I said and ran upstairs with Jade.
How are you not freaking out!? We have to leave our house, family, friends, school, our life! Jade then screamed into a pillow.
" I know and guess what, my mom said we don't have a choice we have to go!" she shrieked.
Ok, take a deep breath. So let me get this straight we basically have to leave our life and never get to see our family and friends again and they expect us to stay sane? What were they thinking?
