ASH'S P.O.V
As I wait for my ship vlerin came back with the hounds in tow, but there were only half of the hounds here. 'They must've encountered a problem.' I thought as I call maria and storm. "You called young master." They both said in sync. "Yes. Vlerin's back with a healthy amount of hounds even thought there were few that were used to be decoys, but I doubt they can eliminate them before dawn." I said as I look at the city, it was a peaceful night, but all of that will be over. Why you ask, well i'll tell you why, when the sun at its highest, the attack will commence and trust me, no one will survive.
"Meet me at my tent, I'm changing the plans." I said as I walk straight to my tent and ended the call with vlerin following me.
Moments layer storm and maria came in my tent(do NOT think of anything dirty) they took their respectable places and sat.
I turned around to look at them to begin the new plan. "So they have guns and cannons. Hmmm...lets make the first wave to the hounds, it'll make the enemy run out of ammo faster, after that we'll fire our plasma cannons and signal the reapers to attack. If the hounds manage to breach their walls, vlerins eternal shadows will climb the wall on the north side where most of our forces were and open the gate, and when the gates are fully opened I'll send in the sentinels and the vulpus knights to enter first before i send in the rest of our forces. Any questions?" I asked as i noticed that storm raised his hand.
"Yes storm what is your question." I said as i look at him. He stood up and started to move the pieces. "I have an idea that needs the reapers and the silent ones. Lets send a group of reapers and silent ones to attack a barracks that contains most of the enemies weapons, if we do thay they'll hqve no more weapons to surprise as with and their ammo will be depleted much faster" he suggested as I thought about it and to my surprise it was a very good idea. "Its a good idea, to that extent I will let storm lead the silent ones and reapers to the barracks and weapon storages. But we might have a slight problem." I said while looking at a picture thqt me and my siblings took about a hundred-thousand years ir so ago.
"What is bothering you master, is there a problem on the plan?" Maria ask as I only glance at her direction before sighing heavily. "Its my old allies, they have awoken, the most recently awokened is johann or as he likes to call himself as jm, but you can only call him that if you earned his respect or you befriend him, star awakened about 3 hundred years ago before we began to plan our attack, the only one left that hadn't woke up yet is nyx, star's sister.*sighs* we were a group called the guardians until we were eliminated one by one, by infernos ancestral king, they hunted as down like cattle, creating chaos althrough out the multiverse. The last ones to survive was me and johann, we were hiding on our last outpost, the abyssalpost some called it due to its shadow like feature and skeletal structure. We thought we're safe but it turned out that I had a tracker on my back and jm opened portal behind me." I said as I look at them.
(Flashback 5,000 years ago)
"Jm! What are you doing!?" I shouted as he took the tracker off of me and look me directly at my eyes his brown ones staring into mine.
"Im sorry ash but, you'll forgive me for this." He said as he pushes me inside the portal.
"JM!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!" I shouted as an explosion was heard and the portal closed leaving me in total darkness.
(Flashback end)
I felt tears running down my cheek as i remember that face he looked at me with, he was smiling. "He...he wanted me to...*sob*...to be safe. So he...he sacrificed himself for me to survive *sobs*." I cried as I held the photo of us four tightly as maria walked over to me and hugged me while I cried.
"Shhhh...its alright ash...shhh... we'll make them pay for what they did to you all of them." Maria said as she patted my back trying to stop me from crying.
JM'S P.O.V
I opened my eyes to see a bright light I instinctivle covered my eyes from the brigtness and tried to sit up, only for me to regret it as an incredible pain shoot out to my legs and right arm. I screamed from the pain, i heard the door open as doctors and nurses tries to hold me still to inject me with a seditive. I trashed my arms as the pain gets worse and I felt my left eye burn like something is burning it, so i shouted again. The pain worsened until i felt something inject me and has gone away and darkness consumed my vision. 'Mom? Dad? Wher are you!?' I last thought as darkness consumed my vision and my body got numb
