Chemo

Codie's point of view:

"So what do you want to do?" Justin asked smiling as he sipped his coffee.

"I've actually gotta go to the hospital" I said checking the time on my phone.

"Why?" He asked looking quit scared

"Chemo" I replied as I stood up and chucked my rubbish in the bin.

Justin stood up and did the same and 2 teenage girls came over to where we were sat. I thought that they were gonna go over to Justin so I just went on my phone.

"Codie? Ermmmmmmmmm is it okay if we have a photo?l" I heard one ask.

"Era yea sure. Together or separate?" I asked as I put my phone in my pocket.

"Separate if that's okay" one asked. I smiled and nodded as she smiled.

First a blonde girl game and stood next to me. She smiled and I looked at the camera with her. She had dirty blonde hair in a pony tail and natural make up on. I noticed that she had braces on her white teeth and she was really pretty and skinny. She was wearing a white crop top with black leggins and a pair of air max shoes.

The next girl came and stood next to me as we both smiled at the camera. She had dyed purple hair with outgoing makeup on. She was wearing a pair if denim jeans and a big shirt.

They left and me and Justin started to walk back home.

"Do you want me to come to the hospital with you?" Justin asked as he caught up with me

"Nah it's okay. Don't want you to bother and all that. I'll just get Chaz to drop me of or I'll get a taxi. It's just for some injections and stuff" I said as kept on walking.

"It won't be any hassle. I've got nothing better to do" He said as we reached his house.

"Okay" I sighed and followed him up the drive. He went inside to get the keys and then we got in the car, pulling out of the driveway.

"Does it hurt?" I heard him say into the silence

"Does what hurt?" I asked felling the pain already

"Cancer. Does cancer hurt?" he asked and I saw as he looked sort of annoyed with himself .

"Yea. The pains always there. It just wants to be felt." I awnserd truthfully, rubbing my shoulder abit

"Sucks" he replied as we got to the private doctors surgery that I go to.

We got out of the car and I checked in as Justin sat in the waiting room. I just had to have some injections like usual. Nothing to worry about. These injections hurt though.

I sighed and sat next to him as I waited for my name to be called.

It eventually was and I stood up, Justin following me.

"Hello there Codie. Nice to see you again. Ah and hello Mr Bieber" the doctor said.

"Hi" I replied meekly as I felt a little bit sick.

"There's something I need to talk to you about" he replied. This couldn't be good. Normally when he says that it's always bad.

"Okay" I said and looked at Justin

"The thing is Codie. Your tumors are growing a 5% faster than we hoped." He said as he filled in some paperwork

"W-what does that mean?" I asked. I honestly thought I was gonna throw up in my mouth.

"It just means that your gonna need some time in the hospital and more frequent injections" he said as he pulled over a trolley. It had the needles on it with the drugs already in it. 4 injections. That's all it was.

"Ready?" He asked as I turnt to my said, rolling my sleeve up. I looked into Justin's eyes and bit my lip. The doctor pulled up the first one and inspected it. Justin looked sympathetic and grabbed my hand, letting me squeeze it as the doctor pushed the first injection in. He allowed me to do this with all 4 injections and then it was over. Finally.

After a while of speaking to the doctor I could go. My arm had gone dead and I could barley move it as it felt heavy. I was scared. How long were my tumors gonna last before I died?

As I sat in the car and thought about it I stared at Justin.

"Whats up?" He asked

"Justin. A-am I gonna die?" I asked him slowly, the drugs making me drousy
