A woman stood in the crowded square of Montequie, France. Her long blonde hair shimmered like gold cascading down her back. She was adorned in ribbons and silks, wearing a beautiful white lace trimmed dress. She was bargaining with a merchant over eggs. Batting her soft eyelashes she convinced the man to lower the price down to 4 francs.
Smiling, she filled her basket and turned to purchase some more linens. A crisp autumn wind blew through her hair, causing it to stir and shimmer in the sun. Rays of light seemed to flow around her, giving her an almost angelic look.
As she walked through the square, she admired the various wares for sale. Ribbons, mortars and pestles, fruits, dresses, almost anything you could think of was for sale. Making her way to the linens, she picked up a particularly enchanting set. It was a soft cotton, dyed baby pink with embroidered roses on it.
She beamed lovingly at the set and quickly paid for it, then deciding to take a look at the dresses for sale. Gliding over to the stall, she smiled at the woman behind the counter, who quickly blushed and grinned shyly back at her. The woman offered her a lovely lavender dress, trimmed with silk with a lovely lace collar. She pressed it against her chest, checking to see if the size was correct. Happily, it was the perfect size and she gladly bought it.
Softly smiling, she made her way back home, which was a large mansion at the center of town. Stepping into her home, a servant came up to take her belongings and to put them away. With a soft "thank you", she glided up with staircase towards her room.
Stepping into her room, she walks across the room towards her vanity. Sitting down, she picks up a soft rosy powder and dabs it onto her cheeks. Lips curling into a smile she reapplied her mascara by rubbing the brush on the wet black block on her counter and applying it on her long luscious eyelashes. When she finished, a knock on the door startled her. Turning around, she called for the person to come in before a maid stepped into the room, informing her that supper is ready.
After the maid left, she stood and made her way to the closet. Sorting through her clothes, she decides on the new lavender dress and changed into it, lacing up the back with the upmost care.
Smoothing down the front of the dress, she stares at herself in the mirror. Tender eyes shimmering, she glowed like an angel.
Walking down the steps, she was greeted with her family; her mother and father. Smiling happily, she made her way over to them and they all stepped into the dining room, the long mahogany table glistening with fresh polish, covered in golden platters full of delicacies. Pies, cakes, meats, glasses of champagne, it was all there.
The family say down in their respective places, beginning to converse with one another happily and they enjoyed their meal.
After the meal ended, the woman's father retreated to his study, her and her mother to the garden, where she admired the gardner's handiwork.
Suddenly, the woman remember about the ball behing held tonight. Quickly, she sent a maid to call for a carriage and went upstairs to get ready.
Dress in a fine ivory gown and dripping with diamonds, she ascended only when word came that the carriage arrived. Gliding down the stairs, she looked like she was ascending from heaven.
Stepping into the grand ballroom of her friend's home, she was delighted to the that the ball was in full swing. Women flounced in glorious gowns of many colors, led by men in fine tailored suits.
Sipping a glass of champagne, she walked around the room, stopping once in a while to talk to old friends.

Every man wanted to have the privilege of dancing with such an angel.Unfortunately, the ball was over all too soon. People began to file out into the grand hallway, nibbling on hors d'oeuvres and drinking the finest wines and champagnes.
