" Aye make sure they are not miscounting that shit." I instructed one of the workers as he was overlooking others as they counted money putting them in the money machine for accuracy. The day was coming to an end and I was ready to dip. I looked at the time on my phone as I walked towards the lab. It was where we cooked our product. Shai was the advisor of this department.
Shai went to college getting his Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and Botany. He graduated at the top of his class having tons of offers from different organizations that wanted to work with him. Yet he brought ass home wanting to get into the family business.....why idk....but I digress. He stayed out of my way, so I didn't care what he did.
"How is it looking?" I asked. " It's going well....test results came out 100% pure. The Brazilian connection is valid." He stated giving me the chart. I nodded my head looking it over before giving it back.
" Don B.....take over we out." I instructed one of my top workers before walking towards the front with Shai behind me. " If we sell $60 dollars a bag, we will meet our quota by the end of next month." He says. " We'll have enough to make a deal with the Russian connection for Red heroin." He continued.
" Yea." I replied as I stared at one of the workers who was staring hard at Shai ......like I said he was a distraction. " Hey I just got the word from val, the shipment for our "toys" will be here Wednesday night." Tay says walking towards us. " You good bro?" He asked when I didn't reply back. He looked in the direction I was staring chuckling. " Um y'all done?, cause I'm hungry as fuck." He says rubbing his belly.
"Yea let's be out, before I blackout in this bitch." I was irritated, I hated when niggas looked at him like that. I'm bout to start making his ass wear sweats and a damn hoodie .

" The man is still breathing, he's good. " I say as i go up to my room. I put him on speaker and start stripping out of my clothes putting on some sweats and a wife beater. " Queyshun, you can't go around beating up our fucking income....YOUR NOT SOME THUG! " He yelled. "He the one that had a nigga hiding in closet, Shai the one that caught it.....but somehow it the wrong thing to defend ourselves right." I say getting irritated.
" Remember who you talking to Quey, just cause I'm not there don't mean i won't catch the next flight back just to fuck you up........I'm really having second thoughts of letting you take my place." He says. " THEN DON'T THEN, THAT PROBABLY WHAT THE FUCK YOU PLANNED ON DOING ANYWAY!" I say and hang up. I swear he gets on my fucking nerves.
I grab a pre rolled blunt off my dresser and take my lighter lighting it. I would call one of my hoes to relieve some of this stress, but I don't have time to be arguing with no bitch right now. Suddenly i hear bumping against my wall......the fuck is he doing? I get up and open my door leaving my room going to Shai's door opening it hard as hell. " The fuck is- I stopped as i seen shai come out of his walk in closet in nothing but a bra and panties.

When he saw me, his eyes got wide covering up with a robe that laid on his bed. " Sorry I was trying to get something from the top of my closet." He says softly. "Damn." Was all I could think of I stared at his body. "Um....yeah.... just do the shit quietly." with that i quickly closed his door and walked back to my room. I looked down at my print which was visibly showing. Yeah .....he's definitely not going to Fiji with us.

I stayed in my room not wanting to bump into quey. I heard him and dad on the phone earlier. I knew he was pissed and i was staying out of his sight. Even though he never put his hands on me, I saw him fight. None of the other fighters had a chance against him. So i know if he ever snaps and hits me, i know I'm dead right off the bat.
I sighed closing my eyes as i tossed and turned in my bed. I can't believe he walked in on me. I don't know how to feel now right now ,especially that look he had on his face. I know he thinks I'm a freak already and seeing me like that made him realize how much of a freak i am. I wiped my tears and got up from my bed when my stomach started growling. I slowly open my door and see that quey door was closed.
I damn near run down the stairs and into the kitchen. I look into the fridge and get stuff to make a sandwich. I went to the cupboard to get a plate but they were too high. Damn you estella( maid). I was on my tippy toes for about five min trying to get a plate until I felt a hand on my waist and another arm went over me to get the plate and handed it to me. I turn to see quey, high as hell as always.
I shaking grab the plate and he stood there for a min and then stepped back walking out the kitchen. I take a breath and continue to fix my sandwich. I wonder if he ate....i toast Four pieces of bread and grab a paper towel to wrap my sandwich in. Once the bread popped up i started making him two sandwiches with all the fixing except tomatoes due to him being allergic. I grabbed a bottle of water for me and a bottle of gatorade for him. I grabbed his plate, my stuff and walked back up stairs. I take my stuff to my room and then go back out knocking on quey's door.
He opened it and looked at me with an eyebrow raised as I handed him the plate and Gatorade walking back to my door. " Tink?" he says. I stopped and looked back at him. " Um....thanks." he says. I smiled a lil nodding my head and went into my room closing my door. I sit down on my bed and begin to eat my food smiling.......
