Chapter twenty: You choose Part 1

Perviously on 'I am the Frozen Angel':

Ross slowly stood up and walked toward the door.

He opened it to show Ratliff at the door.

He wore a black rain coat on, black skinny jeans and blakc high tops.

His hair was wet and clung to his forehead.

 "Ratliff?" Ross asked.

"Yeah, listen man," Ratliff said walking in the house. "You two need to come with me, now."

"Why?" I asked standing up.

"Because we have a problem." Ratliff continued.

Rattlif had this crazy look in his eyes.

 Ratliff looked straight into my eyes. "Your dad came, and hes not alone."

"Wait what?!?!" I asked walking over toward Ratliff and Ross.

Ross stood by the door, shock writen all over his face.

"He's a week early!" I protested.

"I know!" Ratliff shouted over the thunder. "Thats why we need to leave, now!"

I nodded and started looking around for my sweater.

"Wait Alexis!" Ross said out of his trance. "Your seriously going after him, again?"

"What choice do I have? If I dont he'll hurt inicent people." I said putting my sweater on.

"You cant do this! he could hurt you!" He said placing his hands on my shoulders.

"Ross, i've done this before, I can do this again." I walked past him and went out the door.

"Wait!" Ross shouted when me and Ratliff where getting into his car.

I saw Ross running out side with his sweater and keys in his hands.

"I'm coming to." Ross said getting in the seat behind the passenger.

Once we were all in, Ratliff turned on the car and started for the main head quarters.

Let me tell you, Ratliff drives like a mad man.

We were half way there, and he ran three red lights, four stop signs, and nearly hit six people.

I was surprized that we didnt get pulled over by now.

In less then 10 minutes I saw the high school hiding the head quarters.

But we drove past it.

"Um, Ratliff, we passed it." I said looking over to him and holding onto the door handle for dear life.

"No, two hours ago a teen spoted Percy, your dad, walking down the main streets. And he started terorizing the hole darn place." Ratliff said not looking away from the road.

"Wait, he's in the city?" I asked.

"Yeah, beause we have another head quarters over there. He heard that you weren't in the one under the school, so he went to the other one."

"Wait, you also said something about he wasnt alone?" Ross said sitting in the middle seat.

"Yeah, aparently he brought and army."

My throat went dry.

"Are people there?" I asked.

"Yeah, more than half of the teen and adult super humans are there. Even some cops. I heard the SWAT team made it to."
