In 5th grade all of us applied to middle schools, I applied for one or two while the other kids applied for many. I got into Lmc middle school, right on wall street. Since 6th grade, I took the new york city subway alone to school. In 2017 we got a new roommate to fill my Uncles spot, His name was Steven.
Almost everyday I had dance, I loved to dance. We had to wear unitards that all the girls complained about, But I didn't mind. We had our locker room and little did I know some of my worst memories of middle school would occur there. While we changed the most significant topic was "who has the biggest boobs?" I always laughed and acted as I cared, but I honestly just didn't want people looking at my boobs because they were new to me. I recently just saved up to buy my first bra from pink from babysitting and selling my stuff. At the beginning of 7th grade, I was considered popular, people liked me. Everyone knew me. I was Olivia James! I danced, sang and I had been dating Joseph Lin for 8 months. After school, my hobbies included going down to Broadway and shopping with my friends. I didn't shop, due to my lack of money. If I liked something I most likely stole it. We didn't have much money, My mother worked 3 jobs and soon lost 2 of them so we lacked the money to afford the luxuries everyone else had. The child support that we got from my dad either went to, expensive dinners or new Prada bags. But no one needed to know that, because they thought of me as one of them, I was no different. Every day at school we would go out to lunch. Every day was the same, Bento Box, Bubble tea and rite aid. We thought we would be friends forever.
