It was another day like normal my father planning his evil plans out. Which by all means my father is Master Xehanort and yes its true. The good part is that I only have his orange eyes really.

But today we a visiting Master Eraqus a old friend of my father. Sometimes I don't even like to say he's my father but he is. He saved me a long time ago from getting hurt by so many cruel people. So he took me in as his child. I always look up to him but from over these 16 years.

When we walk in the room of the castle I decided to sit on the steps beside the chair my father sits at. I remembered coming here before to drop off Ventus.

Father was always trying to come up with a evil plan to control kingdom hearts. He always says that the dark and light balance the worlds.

During the exam Terra was getting to close to the darkness and he didn't become a Master. Even though he used the darkness. Father always said that Eraqus didn't understand the point of darkness at all.

While, everyone was leaving the room. My father and I take the stairs from the side of the castle to see Vanitas leaning up against the walls. I always had a small crush on him for some reason.

We both get along since father took Vanitas who is Ven's darkside and made him one of his students. I have to wait until night to talk to him or when we go out on a mission.

Vanitas and I was heading to the castle of dreams before Terra or anyone else got there. We were both walking side by side looking for anything off task.

" Do you think that we would be able to grab Ventus?" I broke the silence.

"Yes, I'm sure. By master plan I hope."

I stop in my tracks and I look at him.

" Why help my father?"

He look at my like I was stupid.

"He brought me here to these worlds today. If I wasn't for him I wouldn't have been talking to right now. Be sides I am a part of him."

"To me your nothing like him........your different."

"How different? May i say he controls me! I'm his vessel of darkness!"

"But, I don't see that in you!"

" What do you mean?"

"Your caring towards me. You not as evil as my father who wants everything to himself! I can see it in your eyes that your don't want this life."

"You are right but I can't be free from this darkness that is inside me. I want to protect you from your father to keep you safe from darkness that your father holds."

He steps closer and takes my hand.

"I want to be there for you Y/N."

He pulls me into a hug and runs his fingers through my (H/L) (H/C).

" I love you Vanitas."

I hug him.

"I love you too my dear Y/N."

We held each other for a while before letting go.

"Shall we continue with our mission before we get in trouble?"

"Yes we can. Come Vanitas let's get to the castle before the others get there first."
