It was that first day of fifth grade and Carly had just come back from Hawaii. She had never really thought about boys but for some reason it was on her mind. The day went on and her best friend was talking to this girl who despised Carly. Her name was Amanda. Amanda had always wanted to be best friends Grace (Carly's best friend).
