He hears her soft laugh all the way across the bar.

This is the first time he's met her. He goes up to her and pulls out his best flirting tricks. As cheesy and cringey as they were, they surely worked because he left that night with a number and a kiss.

They talked from day to night. They just had an automatic connection. He soon fell head over heels for a girl he barely knew.

They moved too fast. He knows it. It went from subtle flirting to under the sheets before he even got to know her birthdate. He gave his all to her because he thought she was going to be the same forever.

He knows what she does. He saw it for himself. Her grinding up on a man taller than him, more bulky than him.  He felt outrageous but didn't do anything in fear that he would lose his everything.

He gave a piece of himself to her, but she didn't care.
