"Nana, what's that?" Miya walks up to her. "Oh, It's a piece of cake that Harith gave me." Nana smiled, licking the fork. Miya raised her brow and placed her hands on her hips. "Harith?"
"Yes."
"I told him to go get supplies."
"Yes, you did."
"He came back already?"
"No, he just like came back, gave me the cake, and Bam! He's gone."Miya had a concerned expression on her face. She picks up the box and the plastic fork and throws it into the nearest trash bin. "I'm sure you know this by now, Nana." Miya says. "But Harith doesn't even know you eat cake."
A thunder clap struck the cat elf's head as sudden realization hit her. She loved pastries. But Harith didn't, and he didn't know she likes cake or cupcakes or cookies. She stared at the moon elf with wide eyes and her cheeks smeared with icing. "Does that mean-"
"Yes, that was most likely not Harith."

Nana stayed in her room for the rest of the day, reading fairy tails quietly. Her mind drifted off to Harith, but she couldn't place what happened.
Night fell, and she could hear the howling of the forest wolves. The moon was full and the moonlight shone down brightly through the window panes. Nana let out a yawn. She walked over to her room's door, which led into the backyard.
As if it was on cue, she heard a knock.
Harith's Perspective
"Let's see here, motor oil..." The mage muttered to himself as he dashed in and out of the market. "Harith!" He heard someone call. The mage looked around for the voice and waved to the girl in the red hood. "Ruby, hello!"
"What's that?"
"Just some supplies for the week." He smiled. Ruby smiled back. "I see." Ruby accompanied him in search for the other stuff, since she knew the place well and memorized the lot of the stalls and stores. But even she wasn't fast enough for all the things on Harith's list. 'My, Miya sure ... I don't know... Needs a lot.' The hooded girl thought. The surroundings started to get darker as the moon replaced the sun. "It's getting late. I should go." Harith waved goodbye to Ruby and started to walk home.He was out of energy. No more dashing, or running, which was the fastest, home. He decided to take it slowly and beware of the dangers that lurked in the night. It could be The Troublemakers, or worse, the members of the Dark Abyss.
When he got home, Miya was waiting for him at the front door. She grabbed some of the bags he was carrying and put a finger to her lips. "She's sleeping."
Sure enough, the small hut was filled with a deafening silence. As soon as he finished unpacking the stuff, he entered the cat elf's room quietly. She was fast asleep. He got closer to her, but his eyes caught something shiny on her desk. Harith picked it up to get a better look. He growled in anger and disgust.
A hairpin. A Three of Spades hairpin.
