Marinette walked through the snowy streets, shivering as an icy blast hit her face. She tightened her fur coat around her body.

"M-M-Marinette, hurry and g-get home," Tikki shivered, hiding in Marinette's coat pocket.

"I would if I knew w-where I was going," Marinette said, her voice muffled by her scarf. "In this s-snowstorm, I can h-hardly see anything but snow!"

When Marinette decided to stop by the grocery store after school, she ended up getting lost in the storm.

"I-I'm never gonna f-find my house," Marinette groaned. "I'm g-going to freeze to d-death!"

She was startled by a dark figure rapidly moving towards her. She could barely make out who it was. When the figure grasped her arm, she shrieked in terror and tried to fight him away.

"Whoa, calm down, Princess!" a familiar voice yelped. Marinette peered at him.  "C-Chat Noir?" she whispered hopefully.

The hero grinned at her. "Glad you could recognize me, Princess." He suddenly frowned. "What are you doing out here? You're lips are going blue!"

Marinette shivered. "W-what are you doing here?" she stammered defensively.

"I was looking for people to save." Chat Noir began to wrap his arms around her.

Marinette squeaked in surprise and wriggled his arms off. "W-What are you doing?" she hissed, despite the fact that his warm arms comforted her.

Chat grinned wryly. "So you don't want me to take you home?"

Marinette looked away, her now pale face blushing. "F-Fine, kitty, but h-hurry."

Chat Noir scooped her up in his arms and leaped high into the air. Marinette wrapped her arms around his neck to keep from falling. Sensing her fear, Chat Noir held her securely against his chest.

Chat Noir landed on her balcony and slipped inside the trapdoor. The warmth of Marinette's room hit them suddenly.

Marinette slipped out of his arms, sighing in relief at the warmth. She looked at Chat Noir. "Weren't you cold?"

Chat nodded; only now Marinette realized how pale his face was. "Yes, but saving Paris is more important."

Marinette was filled with gratitude when she thought about how Chat Noir would rather freeze to death than to let Paris get attacked by another Akuma.

Chat Noir turned away, ready to spring out of her trapdoor. Suddenly Marinette grabbed his arm. "Wait!"

He turned to face her. Marinette smiled at him. "Would you like some hot chocolate?"

Chat smiled gratefully. "Yes, that would be delicious, Princess."

Marinette peered around to see where her parents were. They were both watching TV in their room. She hoped they wouldn't mind that she was feeding a hero.

"Come," she said, and took his hand. He squeezed her hand softly, and Marinette smiled to herself. She led him into the kitchen, where she began boiling water.

"We've also got cookies," Marinette told him, taking out a box of cookies.

When she made the hot chocolates, they both took the food back to her room. They sat on her bed and began to eat quietly.

"You're amazing, Princess," Chat Noir murmured. "I can't think of anyone I know who would do this."

"You're quiet lucky you stumbled into me, Chaton," Marinette smiled. "And I probably would be freezing to death out there if it weren't for you."

And before she could tell herself not to do it, she wrapped her arms around his and snuggled comfortably by him.

Marinette peeked up at him, but was delighted to see that he was smiling at her affectionately. He set his food down and wrapped his arms around her.

Marinette lay her head on his belly as they both curled up. Marinette somehow  ended up falling asleep.

When she woke up again, Chat was still snoozing. She could hear a small purr in his throat. She gently shook him, looking at the clock. It was almost 10:00 pm, about three hours since Chat Noir rescued her.

Marinette shook him gently. "Chat Noir?"

Chat Noir's eyes blinked open and he stared at her. "Marinette," he mumbled, sitting up.

"You should go," Marinette said with a smile.

"Right," Chat Noir yawned. He straightened up and turned towards her. "Good-bye, Marinette."

Marinette quickly stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Chat," she whispered. She was delighted to see a blush on his face.

Chat turned away and was about to leave, but he looked over his shoulder at Marinette.

"Y'know, you really remind me of someone," he said softly.

Marinette's eyes widened. Shit shit shit, please don't recognize me as Ladybug.....

Chat Noir just shrugged and grinned. "See ya, princess."
