❄️Beginning❄️

It was pitch dark, but jimin wasn't one to be scared of dark, he had grown up reading and hearing stories about things that normal people wouldn't believe or rather thought were just that stories but jimin thought differently he wasn't scared but more like fascinated, he got down from the bus at the station his stop being the last one.

He decided to ask around to find his way, spotting a run-down store he decided to approach it, the fact that it being the only one around so he hardly got a choice so he got in the store bowing to the old man behind the counter to walk towards drinks aisle and settled on a drink and paid for it.

The weather outside was starting to take sour mood so he decided he would just stay inside and finish his drink, as he settled himself on one of the broken down chairs the old man approached him smiling warmly at him which Jimin returned with his own crescent one.

"You seem to be new in here boy.. haven't seen you before," the old man says trying to make a conversation with the young boy

"Yeah.. I am ajjushi you see I got a scholarship in the college here," jimin said somehow this old made him feel safe and warm with his calm voice and smile jimin felt comfortable making him wonder if he ever had grandpa he would be like this man in front of him and smiled at the thought.

"Ohh.. that's really good boy..you seem to be a hard worker and hope you are successful in what you want to achieve" the old man said comfortingly and with a warm smile

"Thank you!  I will.." jimin thought about asking the man about his way considering he was nice so far and seemed to be here long maybe he was familiar with the place he decided to ask "um, ajjushi  I seem to have arrived at really wired hour ..but do you happen to know the way to reach 'watermont college' ?"

"Oh.. that's a very prestigious college here in Springfield but at this hour there is hardly any bus to take you there and it would take you hour on foot but if you wait till morning there is bus that can take you there" the old man finished, but if jimin waits till morning he will surely be late on his first day which he didn't want. He was in thought when the old man spoke "but if you go straight through the woods you may reach there in 20mins to be max"

"Fine then I 'll go, " jimin said determined to which the old man kind of frowned and jimin gave him a questioning look the old man look contemplating his next words but sighed finally

" Listen, boy... I suggest you don't take the route," the old man said and jimin shot him a confusing look so he sighed and continued " These woods they have mysteries and stories people don't wanna know about and it's better that they stay that way " old man finished but jimin was curious about the words of the old man cause jimin was a curious cat, so he decided to pry further

"What kind of stories and mysteries?"

"Let's just say..there is a world beyond the world we know. There exists the world of darkness, of mysteries, of magic and creatures that humans don't know about but young people like you probably won't believe this but just because we don't believe doesn't mean they stop existing" the old man finished with a meaningful look on his face.

Jimin just couldn't stop thinking about the information he just received it was like it was straight out of the books he reads or the stories his mom told him when he was small and looked towards the woods deep in thought ' hmm interesting.. I would be wonderful to know' he was intrigued he decided he had to see for himself and it will also get him to college Early so it was a good deal.

"Thank you ajusshi..i think I will go now.." he said smiling gratefully at the man and giving a glance the small gate which leads to the forest.

"Are you sure? Are you not scared? It wasn't my intention to scare you off but still" the old man asked jimin, surprised that jimin was more intrigued than being scared.
