sorry for this mess :/

laundry day always fell on a humid sunday afternoon for the five teens. it was impossible for them to do any other day since their weeks were always crammed with hectic interviews or performances they didn't know about until last minute.
jonah, being the eldest, held great responsibility in cleaning his band mates clothes for the day so they at least had a weeks worth of outfits.
usually the brunette was the one to collect his change and walk to the laundromat alone with his ear buds distracting him, but this one time was different.
jonah couldn't decline the young boy's request to tag along once he practically begged.
"so you always do this, alone?" the small teen inquired, slightly tilting his head to the side in curiosity while the high-top pair of vans on his feet kicked at the old washer machine he was putting his weight on.
"yeah, pretty much." jonah shrugged while he thought nothing of it. the task of cleaning clothes was so simply he kind of enjoyed doing it alone, cherishing the dull silence with faint sounds of heavy metal machines running.
zach let his feet hit the traditional black & white tile with a light 'thud' before starting to shift through the basket also, helping the brunette since some of his clothing articles happen to be in there too.
"well, consider me your new partner." the elder glanced down, flashing the small teen who decided to pitch in a toothy grin that played across his lips.
he knew zach didn't have to help but if he told the boy no, zach would ignore his constant protest and insist on helping anyway.
we can just dance to this.
jonah heard the lyric distantly play in the empty laundromat as he slipped one of his quarters in the washer machine, soon humming softly to the familiar song.
the music soon grew louder, filling the still air before he looked over to see zach standing by the radio while doing some ridiculous dance, making it impossible for the teen not to burst out in to a laughing fit.
zach grasped a hold onto jonah's hand and dragged him on top of the solid white metal machines, starting to sway on the toes of his sneakers to the pleasing music, gesturing the older teen to do the same.
jonah shrugged slightly before beginning to dance with his younger band mate, both becoming reckless teenagers as they ignored the continuous complaints to get down.
the teen didn't know what it was, but he always found comfort around zach. something about the younger boy just made him fun to be around.
a cute string of giggles fell from the rosey cheeked boy's lips once jonah found the boost of confidence to twirl zach in a circle.
as the song came to a end and jonah slipped down from off the machine to touch the old tile floor, he turned around and held his arms out to catch the smaller boy who jumped down.
a light tint of red kissing both of their pale cheeks, faces inches apart as zach's dark irises admired the taller boy's stormy grey ones.
zach's breathing hitched and his heartbeat sped up, the thought of jonah colliding their lips together carelessly to enjoy a passionate kiss found it's way in to his mind.
the teen always had strong feelings for his older band mate, but knowing that he was consistently going to just be a 'little brother" figure to jonah forced him to throw it all away.
the elder jumped, pulling away from zach once the sound of the washer buzzing scared both teens from their loving trance. a wave awkwardness impacted the air around them as they both went back to doing their separate things.
"do you have another quarter, partner?" zach let the small smile tug onto his lips before reaching in to his back pocket, handing jonah the spare quarter that's probably been there for a while.
the brunette mumbled an audible 'thanks', repeating his gestures from earlier, afterwards jumping up to sit next to zach.
for it only to be half an hour ago when jonah put the clothes in the dryer, waiting like ages to the two impatient brunette's.
zach tosses the vivid fabrics in to the basket before lifting the plastic object off the ground to carry on their walk back. noticing his struggling, jonah took it from the boy's grasp to carry himself.
"you actually made doing laundry more fun than it's suppose to be, thank you z." a dark coat of red flushed the boy's cheek from their natural pink color as he hid his pale face in to his hands.
"i-it's really nothing." he stammered, continuing to shuffle his feet down the pavement while nervously flipping the zipper on his jacket.
"maybe you can do it again sometime?"
"i'd like that."
