Waiting For You

I woke up with an unusual smile on my face. I hummed a song as I made my breakfast. I leaned against the kitchen counter, coffee in hand and caught a sight of my dress. "I wish I could wear you again." I muttered before smiling again like an idiot as I was hit of last night's events.

I feel like I've just had the best night of my life.

As I showered in the bathroom, I kept humming to the song I listened to last night and the lyrics alone made my heart beat fast. It was crazy.

I wiped the mirror with my hand to remove the mist. I looked at my reflection, noticing a different glow on my face even though I've been bared of makeup. I took a deep breath. "Let's slow down, Son Jiyoo. We don't want to get hurt again."

I was walking on the remains of snow when I got a text from Hyunjoo.

Jo Hyun Joo:
Do you have time today? Can we meet up?

Jiyoo:
Around 5. Why?

Jo Hyun Joo:
You have to work by 6, right?
That's okay. Let's meet up.
We're almost done with ur project ;)

Jiyoo:
Really?!?! Okiii let's meet up! :D

No problem~

That afternoon, I met up with Hyunjoo in the coffeeshop inside the campus. She's wearing a thick, black winter jacket and a blue scarf around her neck. Her hair was tied in a ponytail. I smiled at her. When I see her like this, I realize how alike we must be.
