Secretly a Prince

The Office

••Eren's POV••

I woke up to someone moving on the other side of the bed. Wait what?? I sat up immediately and saw that I wasn't in my room. I looked to the person next to me and saw that it was Armin. I must've slept here. I got up and I noticed I had Armin's pajamas on. I went to the bathroom and noticed my clothes are on the sink so I grabbed them and put it on. I still do not liking the length on the dress but it's whatever. I woke up Armin and I told him to wake up and that to meet me in the kitchen in an hour because I was going to go to my room to brush my teeth and comb my hair. I softly opened the door and quickly closed it behind me.

I walked down the hall to my room. I opened the door and went straight to the bathroom to brush and comb my hair. After I was done I looked somewhat decent. I looked at the clock and I was right on time to go meet Armin. As I was walking my mind drifted to the dream. She said to never forget that I am well, something but I can't seem to remember. Was she my mom I couldn't tell because I couldn't see her. What happened the day I met Armin. I found him in an alley way but what happened before that?? I don't remember. I was suddenly brought out of my thoughts by slamming my face into a door. I must've arrived to the kitchen. I opened it and saw only a couple of servants and maids there. I was looking around and I found my little blond coconut. I sneaked up behind him and said 'boo'.

"W-hat the hell Eren you nearly gave me a freaking heart attack" Armin jumped.
"Haha sorry but it was pretty funny" I laughed.
"Anyways Prince Levi said to meet you in his office at exactly 5pm" Armin stated.
"Huh me why? Do you know?" I questioned.
"I don't know" he answered.
"Okay time to get your schedules" Erwin suddenly said making everyone go silent.

I didn't want to approach him because of what happened. When we ran into each other and... he.. well, he touched... you know what I mean. I blushed as I came closer to him.

"Here you go Eren your schedule" Erwin said with his normal face expression.
"Th-ank you S-sir" I stuttered. As I got it he gave me a slight smirk and winked at me.
This made me blush more than I was already. I looked redder than the color red.

I walked up to Armin to compare our tasks. We both had an easy day today. I had to water the garden and plant new roses. And Armin has to clean the windows in the castle's greenhouse. I smiled because we both would be next to each other while doing our jobs. We walked to the back of the castle where the greenhouse is and we both but on an apron so that our uniforms won't get dirty. We got to doing our tasks while we talked about random things.

"Oh Eren I forgot to tell you that Prince Levi wants you at his office at exactly 5" Armin said while wiping a window.
"Huh? M-me,why?? I slightly stuttered
"I don't know" he said.

As I was finishing watering the plants I looked at the clock and saw that it 4:50. I only had ten minutes to get to his office. I quickly finished and said bye to Armin. I hurried and put the apron were it belonged and went to go clean my hands and face. I dried  my face and hands and speed walked back to the castle. I forgot that Prince Levi's office was of course to the top of the castle. I mentally signed and ran up the stairs. As I was at the final floor I tripped and scraped my knees. 'I had to trip I'm such a klutz'.

I ran a little bit more until I reached to his door and knocked two times. A faint 'come in' could be heard from the other side of the room. I opened the door and I walked up and straightened my uniform.

"Ah I called you here today to say sorry about my actions, I acted inappropriately and I shouldn't been taking advantage of you so I apologize sincerely" Prince Levi spoke as he bowed.

"I accepted your apology"I replied.
"Well then would y— wait your knees" he pointed to my knees.
I looked down and saw that blood was starting to bleed through my stockings because of when I fell.
"Oh it's fine I'll go clean it up" I said.
"No I'll do it for you as an apology" he held out his hand and I hesitated before accepted.

He sat me down on the chair and grabbed the first aid kit. His hand traveled up my thigh to pull down the stockings. He cleaned up the wound and it slightly burned. Then he put a bandage and he did the same thing to my other leg. He then pulled up the stockings as he did that I felt my face heat up. 'Why am I blushing?! He's only helping me' I mentally cursed at myself.

"There finished" Levi said as he cleared his throat.
"Thank you" I replied with a blush still on my face.
"Well would you look at the time I have to get going" I quickly said. As I was walking to the door Levi grabbed my arm.
"Wait will you meet with me tomorrow" he questioned.
"I.. don't know I might be busy" I answered.
"...Please" he said softly.
"Sure I guess" I answered as he slightly smiled.
"See you later then". I closed the door behind me and my heart was racing.

'I don't think I've ever seen him smile before' I thought. I snapped out of my daze and went to the kitchen and saw everybody eating. I grabbed a plate and served myself some food. I saw Armin and a couple of friends at a table and the seemed to be laughing. I decided to not join them and went straight to my room. I got undressed and put on some pajamas and then started eating my food.

After I finished I put my plate on the bedside table. I noticed that we had about two hours until curfew so I decided to go to the library. I walked slowly taking my time to get there. I opened to big doors and went inside. I scanned the books in the first book shelf and didn't find anything that caught my eyes. I walked to the very back of the library and looked at the books there. As I was going to walk away I saw a book at the very edge of the bookshelf it was kinda hidden and easy to miss. I grabbed it and blew on it because of the dust that began gather. The title said

Lost and found. I read the summary on the back of the book and it was based on a true story. 'When the prince of Wall Rose goes missing the Royal family starts to lose it. The Kingdom is falling apart and the Queen and King don't know what to do. Still grieving from the disappearance of their son they decide to close all ties with the neighboring Kingdoms. No one is allowed to go in or out without the approval of the King and Queen.'

'Hmm seems interesting' I thought. I kept the book with me and went back to my room. I plopped on the bed and began to read the first chapter. Next thing you know it's midnight and I have to stop reading for now. I have to work tomorrow and I need sleep. Closed the book and turned of the lights. I got underneath the covers and closed my eyes. And I soon fell asleep.
