Even For A Second『✔』 [Short story]

Part 3

Hailey becomes the strongest young business woman in the world. "Ma'am the car is ready", her driver said polity and give the key to her. Hailey is driving to the city cause she needs fresh air to breathe and to flashback the past what she passed through to become a strong woman in front of many people and to her family. Hailey leaves the car to the side and walks around in the mini-plaza that she saw. As she walks around she saw an old woman that carry many things in her hand. "Let me help you grandmother," Hailey said and held the other stuff of the old woman.

"Thank you so much young lady", the old woman said and smile to her, taught the way to her home. "This way young lady, I'm sorry my place is so far from the city" old woman said and smile to her awkwardly. "No grandmother is fine for me," Hailey said and smile to the old woman. As they arrive at the old woman house she scanned the whole place. 

"Mother! I told you to stop buying stuff!" a woman shouted as they go into the house. "I'm sorry cherry" old woman said in her sad tone, "Is ok mother, Oh you brought a guest! Come and sit down child" Cherry said as Hailey sit down in front of them. "Sorry is my mother Irk you, child?" Cherry said and held the hand of Hailey "No Ma'am I'm having fun to meet your mother" Hailey said and smile a genuine one.

 "I know we are just shabby people you OMG The way you talk and your dress looks so expensive child, how did you come to this place?" Cherry asks Hailey "I was just walking around and then I saw grandmother carry much stuff," Hailey said in her chuckle tone, "Thanks for your help, you're lucky to your parents, and that they taught you really well." Cherry said and that makes Hailey shade into a sad face. "What happen dear are you ok?" Cherry said in her worry voice. 

"Yes, I'm ok Ma'am," Hailey said "Just call me your aunt instead dear," Cherry said and held her hand. "Ah. Can I share with you my problem I can't take it anymore" Hailey said and broke down into cherry shoulder and cry harder than she ever did when she left the house of her parents. "Sure dear you can share anything" Cherry said and rub her hair "My mom and dad they're having affair to each other and also our company I bring them all into fire and now they are having problem with the finance, last time my mom comes to my office I thought she wanted me to come back, but I was wrong she just go there and shout to me that I need to stop doing hell there life" Hailey said in her mocking voice cause she can't forget what her mother did when she went to her company.

"Maybe you are right to revenge them dearly but that is cross the line, is not what you think that I choose them even though I still do not know you seeing that you're missing the love with your parents. Maybe they're the reason why they did the thing that hurt you always, you know that's how I used to be with my parents before I always hated them for my entire life but things become different when my father died" Cherry said and rub and rub the hair of Hailey until she stops crying, "I guess you are right maybe I just don't see what they did for me thank you so much aunt cherry" Hailey said and fix herself "Maybe I need to go thank you so much aunt cherry can I have your phone number" Hailey said while she extended her hand to Cherry as cherry give the number she left and go to her car, "Maybe aunt cherry was right maybe mom and dad just did that to me" Hailey said and head her way to her home.
