"where am I?"

My head was splitting, or so it seemed. I would mistake it for doing so. That was how bad my headache was.

I was lying on some sort of floor, and it was pitch white.  I cocked my head, and I saw white once again. By god, complete white surrounded me.

I jerked my self up. What is this? Am I dead? Did I die and go to heaven? No. I probably wouldn't have so much worry in heaven. It must be in hell. Oh god, I died and went to hell.

I small chuckle came from behind, a feminine giggle. "If this is hell for you, then I am intently insulted," the voice joked.

I turned to face Bethany. She wore a yellow sundress now, with brown leather flip-flops and a large, brimmed hat.

"W-where are we?" I asked the beauty before me.

Bethany laughed again. "Why would I answer such a thing?" She was confusing me now.

Well, just a bit of joy welted up in my chest, so it wasn't in hell. But fear remained, so how could this be a heaven? What kind of after-life is this?

"Perhaps it isn't an afterlife," remarked Bethany. Was she reading my mind?

"Indeed I am" Bethany said smirking.

There was a voice, a loud voice. It surrounded me, shook me almost. It was a woman's voice. What an odd thing, it sounded as if it was coming through a surface of some sort.

Man, my poor baby is in bad shape, it boomed.

"You will understand it later on," Bethany explained. "But first, let us explore."

Bethany led the way, since I would just lead to nowhere. It was a huge gouge of nothing. I couldn't even tell my directions.

I remained completely silent, admiring Bethany's gorgeous appearance. Even in a nowhere place like this, I didn't change.

"Still a quiet one?" asked Bethany. I nodded awkwardly.

We came to a stop, and I remained dazed. Our destination looked exactly the same as where I woke up.

"What do you feel?" asked Bethany.

What was this mad woman talking about? She just repeated the question.

"I feel nothing," I answered honestly. The response came out meekly.

Bethany just stood there, watching me, having a smile on her face. I never new how mysterious she could be. I kind of liked it.

Then, it happened, I felt a brush against my forehead, followed by a soft kiss. No one was there beside me. Even Bethany was a good three feet away from me.

I jumped. What hell is this?
