I never knew that..

(About to go very off subject and overboard so bear with me. Cause I'm about to rant and probably sound extremely stupid)

So apparently.. I stumbled into the magical channel of Spechie and watched toxic fandoms.. And wow.. there's so many things I've never known.

Up until now, I had NO IDEA how toxic the fandom of undertale is. Sure, I saw a few little weird things of Sans posing.. oddly but that was pretty much as bad as it got for me..

I won't dwell too much into that because I didn't really bother checking on how toxic it is for myself.

And also its not JUST undertale.

I always thought the Steven universe fandom were nice and fun and compassionate but apparently people get REALLY worked up on fan art. If you do one little slip up. Say drew Rose skinny or shipped something. The fandom attacks you..

None of these I bothered to check for myself. I merely scratched the surface of their dark sides and then ran away..

One fandom I know that is toxic. Is voltron. There's so much fan art that is extremely BLEHHHHH

And lemons. Now I don't mind lemons at all, unless they're incest, then we have some problems.

And also TDP fandom, say it with me!

WE ARE NOT GOING TO SEND DEATH THREATS IF OUR SHIPS DO NOT SAIL!
IF THEY DONT SAIL! YA MOVE ONE!

WE ARE NOT GOING TO REPEAT THE SAME MISTAKES AGAIN!
WE ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE THIS FANDOM TOXIC!

Cause trust me, this fandom is young but It. Has. Bloomed!

Mostly, everything is still nice and perfect, amazing fan art. Amazing theories and amazing ships
(Rayllum, Raydia, Gren and Corvus and let's not forget, Runaan and his mysterious boyfriend)

But Oof, the toxicity is coming.. I've seen it floating around here and there. Very mild and barely any but it's DEFINITELY there if you look for it.
