The little antenna sprang up from the head. The head was magnetized to the body. And the droid came to life. The droid was put on a cart and rolled to the painting station.
They gave him a nice coat of white and orange paint. The made sure that the paint was very dry before the turned it on. So they sat there on their pods (a device like a phone) holograming their friends. The droid sat there for a couple of hours but it still needed more time to dry.
One of the workers said, "Let's go grab a bite to eat."
"Okay," she replied.
They got up from their seats and walked out the door. The worker opened the door with his ID card. Then shut the door in the other workers face. The worker that was still inside laughed. In Fact, she laughed so hard the she fell over and bumped the new droid. This, of course, got paint all over the workers coat. She let out a little sigh and walked out of the room to wash her coat and get some lunch.
The droid was left alone in the room. All alone in the dark. Until her red eye lit up and the room was filled with a red glow. The droid had been bumped by the worker and when she bumped him, she accidentally pressed the on button.
The droid got up from the cart and rolled off in search of an exit.
