Chapter 5

I was greeted by a lot of people. They gave Hazel weird looks. A girl walked up to me with a big smile and I could feel Hazel becoming uncomfortable.

The girl had bloned hair and red lip stick. She looked like a b***h. I didn't like her. 2 other girls came from behind her. I was taller than all of them but they had heels making them around my hight. I could feel my wolf trying to take over.

She smile and said "Hey, Scarlett right? I'm Addison, the most wonderful person you'll ever meet. I'm here to save you from that mutt there, who's been clinging onto you all night" she said. I couldn't help myself. I put my hand around her throat and yelled "IF I EVER HEAR YOU CALL HER A MUTT AGAIN I'LL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL" I told her but hazel put her hand on my should relaxing me as I let go of her.

A guy appeared and looked at me. He had anger in his eyes. "What's going on here" he said in an angry tone. I knew he was the alpha because of the power he held. I was scared now but I'll stand up for my mate or anyone in need. I showed him submission before I spoke. "She called hazel a mutt and disrespected me sir. I'm sorry if I made trouble." I said bowing my head.

"Now you get all scared because my big brother here, haha" Addison said fixing her hair. I growled looking at her. She was getting on my last nerve. "Addison SHUT UP, She's our new member and I will not let you disrespect her or her lovely friend now apologize" he said to Addison making me smile and her growl.

"NOW" he barked making Addison jump. She said lowly "I'm sorry" she looked at me. If looks could kill I would have been dead.

Addison walked away. "I'm sorry Scarlett about my sister, she can be a little bit much and I don't need any wolfing out. I'm Hayden the alpha of this pack" he said holding his hand out for me to shake and I did. Hazel grabbed my free hand and Hayden look at me surprised.

"Is she your mate" he asked me. "Well I would like to talk to you after the party for pack matters and it would answer the question?" I asked him. "Yes of course, it's been about an hour so let's get this started." He said.

"EVERY ONE IT'S STARTING" he yelled as everyone became quite. He brought me to the front of the pack on a stage. "So let's get this started" he said as he was given a knife and a cup. The cup was golden. These cups where called Starting Cups because they were the gates of how you became pack members.

He cut his palm a little putting 3 drops of his blood in the cup and then he gave me the knife and I cut my palm and put 3 drops of my blood in it and he said "do you wish to be part of the Blood woods Ohio pack" he asked me and I said yes. He then let the Blood drip on to the ground and I could feel myself becoming part of the pack.

Everyone howled and I did to. I was now a part of this pack. Now it was time for me to find my place in the pack.

I started off fighting a female omaga and won and then a male. We moved up in ranks, I won all of them. The next was my cousin Jake. If I beat him I become Beta, right now I'm a grammar but I tend to pick to be the top fighter instead. I lost against Jake but it was ok. "So Scarlett you made it all the way up to grammar spot. Your allowed to pick any spot below the beta." Hayden said.

I was sweating and had wounds all over me. "T-top f-f-fighter" I said out of breath. When we fight for a spot it's to death or who ever calls outs. I almost died fighting the top fighter. He was before the grammar in ranks.
(Grammar is the 3rd strongest person in the pack or 3rd highest rank)

They both were angry but now I was high rank. Some people have to fight for high rank or was born into it. My last pack I was born into it but since I wasn't born into it in this pack I had to fight for it.
