Heian Period 803

''B-But Prince Yuya, he's human. His life is short and he'll die anytime.'' Yuya's guardian was desperate to convince his prince that falling in-love with a human is futile.

''Leave me alone, Kei. I'm going to the human world.''

Kei and even Yuya's parents weren't able to stop him.

He assumed the form of a human and befriended the love of his life, Yamada Ryosuke.

He found him in a temple praying to the gods. He was crying his heart out on why his beloved was taken away from him at a young age.

The truth, out of his jealousy, Yuya killed the boy and it gives Ryosuke too much heartache.

He was lost in thought that he didn't notice the younger took a blade and slashed his own neck. He just felt that the boy's lifeline was cut.

''R-Ryosuke!!'' He was hugging the boy when his guardian appeared.

''My Prince, if you continue to meddle with their lives. It brings unexpected results and heartache. Not just to him but more to you. Let go, my Prince.''

''No. I won't. I'll wait for his next lifetime and I'm sure, he'll love me back.

Kamakura Period 1331

''You can come with me, Ryosuke. I can take you to our kingdom and live with me forever.''

''Are you serious?''

''Of course!''

''Thank you, Yuya but..I already have someone I like.'' This made Takaki furious. He grabbed the younger's wrist and tried to forcefully kiss him.

''No! You're mine!''

''Y-Yuya, you're hurting me---'' Ryosuke wasn't able to finish for something exploded at the castle. They both looked but before Ryosuke could run back to the castle. Takaki hugged him tightly.

''Don't go! If you go back, you will die!''

''I'll gladly embrace death if I could be with that person. I'm sorry, Yuya.''

The castle was sieged and the shogun together with his entire family were killed. Defending the castle, Ryosuke died together with his master.

Edo Period 1603

Yuya saw two beautiful boys trying to escape a brothel. He recognized one of them as Ryosuke.

The other boy also has chubby-cheeks and beautiful but he was severely bruised.

''Dai-chan, come on. You have to stand up. We have to run or they're going to catch us.'' Ryosuke frantically dragged his friend.

The boy called Dai-chan nodded and forced himself to run.

Takaki decided to step in and kill those men who were running after them but unexpectedly, an arrow hit Ryosuke.

''You...p-please, take c-care of D-Dai-chan. H-help him e-escape.''  Ryosuke was trembling as he held Takaki's hand.

''Ryo-chan. We're going to escape together, right? Come now, I'll carry you. Ryo-chan.''

But he never opened his eyes again.

He'd had enough. Whenever he's close to grasping Ryosuke's hand, he always slips away.Always.

He began a new relationship with Daiki that lasted for years. He loved Yuya very much and the other felt that he could finally forget Ryosuke but he cannot. He loved Ryosuke afterall.

Daiki was raped and killed when the village was attacked. Yuya killed everybody who was involved in his death. To atone for his sins. Daiki died at a young age of 24. He lost him too, just like Ryosuke.

Meiji Period 1868

''You..never loved me. Until now, you still see me as him. But I'm not him, Yuya! I'm not your Ryosuke!! My name's Daiki. Daiki!!

''I know you're not him. I know you're not Ryosuke! I've stopped looking for him because everytime..everytime I find him, he dies. He always dies!''

''Since you don't want him to die, you chose to kill me instead! Do you know how much it hurts me to know that you've never loved me?! It kills me everyday! Everyday!!'' The younger turned and left.

''Daiki! Where are you going?! Come back!''

Daiki died in the ocean when he decided to leave and study medicine in the west.

''Daiki, I'm sorry.''

''I promise to love you, to truly love you on your next lifetime. I will wait. I'll wait for you.''

Kei could only watch his master break his own heart...again.

Heisei- present era

''I'm sorry, Yuya. I thought I could forget about him but I cannot. My heart has been longing and waiting for him to come back. I love you. I do, but I love him more. I've always loved him. Please let me go, Yuya.''

''No. I love you Daiki! I cannot let you go again. Not again.'' He forcefully kissed the younger but he fought back and hurt himself when he hit his head.

Fear crept through Yuya's spine. Not again. He might lose Daiki again, just like how he repeatedly lost Ryosuke. He cannot bear it if Daiki suffers the same fate.

''I'm..I'm sorry Daiki.'' He touched the boy who crawled back, away from him. Takaki cast a spell to put him to sleep. He healed Daiki's wounds and put him gently to bed. He kissed him goodbye before he left. ''I love you.''

Takaki was suprised as he saw Daiki running. The boy was flustered and was in a hurry.His heart beats faster as he saw the younger. He passed Takaki who followed him with his sight. Daiki waved to someone which made Takaki's heart dropped.

''Yama-chan! I'm sorry, I'm late.''

''You overslept again, you baka!'' Ryosuke whacked Daiki's head who giggled.

''Have you been waiting long?'' Daiki kissed the younger boy.

''You know, I could wait forever for you, Dai-chan.''

''Hmmm..really?''

''Oi!''

Daiki kissed him again which Ryosuke passionately answered.

''Shall we go back, my Prince?''  Inoo Kei was beside him.

''They've finally found each other. I hope it would work well for them.''

''I'm sure it will. They have waited for thousands of years to be together.'' Takaki blushed. He knew, Kei was mocking him. Daiki and Ryosuke was never together because of his selfishness. He looked back one more time to see the two people he loved the most, finally happy with each other.

''Let's go home, Kei.''  He caught Kei's hand. The pretty boy didn't protest and gently gripped his master's hand.
