Day 16

Dear Gajeel,

Today was the day I had to go to the guild with Juvia. I was very reluctant to go. Eventually as predicted, Erza picked me up and threw me over her shoulder. When Juvia entered my room this morning I wasn't thinking straight. I had opened the door with a picture of Gajeel under on arm and had a bottle of whiskey in my hand. She had been a idiot and smacked the bottle out of my hand and the whiskey spilt over the floor. I still have to clean it up.

Some how Juvia had managed to get me into the shower, she also got me dressed and fed. But nothing can wash away my tears. Not even the strongest of soaps can remove the sixteen day old tear stains off my permanently sad face with my horrified, depressed eyes that have seen the most harrowing sight anyone can see.

When will my time come Gajeel. I want to be with you. I want to see your face. I want to just rewind back to the times that made me happiest. Back to when he protected me from all evil, from all of the harm that may come to me. Why did you have to leave Gajeel? Why must you go? Why can't you stay? I want you here. Why didn't you let Lily go or force me to come along with you. I don't want to be alone. Why did you go and die on me? You are always there for me! Why aren't you here now, Gajeel? Why? Where have you gone? Your so strong, why did you just fall out? Why? Why, Gajeel?

I've become a heavier drinker than Cana. But unlike her, I do not drink for fun, I drink your memories away. A week ago I was worried about t the guild or anyone seeing me drink, but now, I couldn't care less. Lucy tried to pry the mug of booze out of my hand but failed to do so. I just put my friends out like the end of a burning midnight cigarette.

Can't you just come back so I can be happy?
