@.sloanedobrik: me and my angel are on a honeymoon (oh and davids here too hes just not as cute as us)

@.daviddobrik: True LOL

@.daviddobrik: Luke says who cares about the beach I'm sleeping

@.daviddobrik: Also I like the username sloanster

@.sloanedobrik: @.daviddobrik ............... did you bring ur phone into the water ????????????

@.daviddobrik: @.sloanedobrik Yeah but its not touching I promise

"If that idiot fucking drops his phone," I said to Aaliyah, who laughed next to me, placing her book on her stomach. "I swear, he has the dumbest ideas."

"He's bored," she replied. "Go get in the ocean. I've got Luke. Doesn't look like he's going anywhere."

"I'm scared of sharks!" I defended myself with a sigh. "Plus I hate waves. I'm going to get pulled into a riptide and die."

"Bitch, look at David." she motioned to my now husband, who was standing knee deep in the dark blue water, looking out over the ocean. "He's just standing there. Go!"

"Fuck," I sighed, pushing myself up off the towel and stepping onto the hot sand. "Don't let anyone steal my kid."

"I didn't last night, did I?" she raised her eyebrow cockily with a smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes, flicking her off quickly and then bounding down the beach to get to the water. It was cold to the touch, and goosebumps immediately covered my arms and legs the second my toe reached it. I walked up behind David and poked him in the back, making him jump a foot in the air in shock. "Hi, Davey."

"Jesus Christ, Sloane," he sighed, resting his hand over his bare chest. "I thought you were a shark or an octopus."

"Or a humuhumunukunukuapua'a," I giggled, taking steps to get waist deep in the water. The waves were pretty calm then, and they carelessly rolled over my shoulders. They definitely weren't the huge, crashing surf waves we faced earlier in the morning, the kind that made me so scared to get in the water again. David took his phone out of his pocket and walked a little deeper to join me. "Go put it up, you dingus. I'll fight off the jellyfish myself while you're gone."

"You're so brave," David sarcastically replied, placing a light kiss on my cheek. "Seriously, next Times Woman of the Year right here. I need an autograph later."

"I want a divorce," I laughed and David waved me off, heading out of the water to put his phone with Aaliyah. I saw him look down at Luke's sleeping body with a smile, adjust the umbrella to make sure it was covering his feet, and then make his way back to me. It was kind of adorable. I was kind of in love.

"I'm back. Talked to my lawyer. Divorce is impossible," he explained with a small smile ok his face, grabbing my hips and pulling me closer to him. "Looks like you're stuck with me."

"I didn't see you talk to your lawyer."

"It's all telepathic now and days, babe," he giggled, leaning forward to place a kiss to my lips. "Duh. Love you."

"I love you too," I smiled, splashing him with both of my hands to stop all the mushiness. "I wish Luke liked it. The beach, I mean."

"He likes the sound," David shrugged like he didn't really care. "Knowing you, he'd probably drown if he got in with you."

"Hey!" I laughed, slapping him on the arm. "I wouldn't let him drown unless I drowned first."

"That's helpful," he rolled his eyes playfully. "You'll both be dead, then. Then I'd just have to kill myself."

"Let's not talk about our coming demise on our honeymoon," I told him, pushing him away from me. "Can we go get some pineapple after this? And poke?"

"Poke sounds disgusting," he turned his nose up at the idea of raw fish. I tried to explain that he didn't have to get raw fish, but it was rare that David ever listened to me. "But whatever you want."

"I love you."

"You should," David joked, letting his knees bend so he was neck deep in the oddly calm water. I rolled my eyes, joining him a little lower. "Just kidding. I love you too, Mrs. Dobrik."

"I can't believe I had to change my instagram name for you," I complained. "Sloane Dobrik. It just doesn't have the same ring to it."

"Hey," he frowned, poking me in the side and causing me to jerk away. "I think it's pretty good. You're just fucking picky."

"Okay, okay," I giggled, tossing my wet, tangled hair over my shoulder. "I'm hungry. Can we go? We can come back later, if you want."

"Whatever you want," he repeated, and I led us up to our towels and umbrellas. Luke was just stirring out of his nap and looked up at us in confusion.

"Daddy wet," he pointed to David, who was very much dripped wet. "Mommy wet, too."

"We were in the ocean," I pointed out towards the blue water. "You didn't like it out there?"

"Bugs," was his simple reply. He was referring to the seaweed floating around, which for some reason he thought looked like bugs.

"Can you help me put your shirt on, handsome?" I bent down and pulled his green swim shirt over his head. He helped me shove his arms through the arm holes. "Thank you! Are you ready to go get some lunch?"

Aaliyah stayed at the beach while David, Luke and I headed into town to get lunch. For Luke's sake, we stopped at McDonald's to get him some chicken nuggets, and then we ended up at a poke place a few minutes away.

Hawaii was as I expected: beautiful, peaceful, and so, so warm. Not in a temperature way, but in a love way.

I personally never believed in true love. My parents tolerated one another for the sake of marriage. Every relationship that seemed perfect ended up failing miserably, including mine. People I thought I was in love with left me or treated me like shit.

I never thought I'd find someone who made me feel happy. I never thought I'd find someone who'd put me at peace. I never thought I'd find someone who cared more about me than I did about myself, but I did. I found that in Luke and David. I found people who loved me and cherished me and only wanted the best for me, day after day. I found people who truly made me feel like I was at home, even when I never thought I'd have one. I found my best friends, the loves of my life, and the most important people in the world.

My heart was so, so full.
