I can't let go

Jughead's POV
It has been 2 hours since Betty had been at the hospital. All I can think is that this is my fault. What have I done. Veronica, Alice, Archie and my dad are here.  We have been waiting for so long. Finally the doctor comes out. "Can I speak to mrs Cooper?" Asked doctor Smith. "Yes that's me" pronounced Alice. "Your daughter is alive but barely. She is currently on life support but we are fairly certain she won't ever wake up. You can either keep her on life support, though she wouldn't wake up or you can let go." Oh my god... she's not waking up! What have I done. "I can't afford to keep her on life support. I don't have the money" Alice finally said. "No please don't take her off of life support you can't" I yelled. "Jughead I can't! Please.. don't make this harder for me." It's over. She's gone. Dead. I wasn't fast enough. I didn't save her quick enough. "Then it's settled mrs Cooper we will take her off of life support first thing tomorrow." I decide to visit her before she is fully dead. I walk into her room and sit down next to her bed. "I'm so sorry betty... please don't leave. Please don't!" I cry out. I then fall asleep. The next morning I am woken up by the sounds of doctors and nurses coming in to her room. "Mr Jones it's time" the doctor said. I go pale. I walk out of the room. "Betty please don't leave!!!! PLEASE!!" I hear. Veronica. I think. Then what happens next is a miracle.

Betty's POV
I can't move. I can only hear. I can't talk. I can't wake up... I hear jughead apologising and then I hear doctors. I am overwhelmed by darkness. Black. Black. Black. That's all I see. I'm paralysed. I want to say 'I'm alive' but I can't. I can't do anything. It's hopeless trying to escape. I try one last time to open my eyes and a wave of light hits me. I'm awake! Oh my god IM AWAKE!

Jughead's POV
Just as they were about to take her off of life support. She opens her eyes. Betty opens her eyes!! How!?? I don't care! All I care about is that she is awake. "Betty!" I cry out. "Juggie.." She barely chokes out. "You're awake!." Everyone starts crying and thanking the lord. "Jug.. don't leave me" Betty says in her sleep. She looks so beautiful sleeping. Her golden, sandy hair tangled on her face. She is like an angel. That is the moment that I realised... I'm in love with Betty Cooper.
