Jaspers diary: Visitor

Dear Diary,

Sorry it's been four days but here's what happened.

We left heading close to Canada when we saw someone I thought I would never see again. I felt love and started using my power confused. I was shocked, I wished that i could use my calming power against myself, but sadly I cannot. I stared at Alice and saw her worried expression staring up at me. I wanted to ask her why she didn't see this coming but i knew that it was to late to ask.

"Jasper! You left me!" She came over and hugged me. I patted her back and politely but then shook my way out of her grip.

"Hello Maria. I apologize for leaving you, i had...reasons. This is my family. Edward,Carlisle, Esme and Bella." I stared into her red eyes and then said in a whisper:

"And this is my mate Alice." I pointed to them as I said there names. I was holding Alice's hand while i said this. I was holding her hand and Maria was staring at both of our hands in shock. I used my power but it helped little.

I then noticed another girl. I guessed that she was around 2 or 3 years old (Vampire years). She had black hair. She was a very pretty vampire. She saw me look and then she looked away embarrassed.

"That is Joanne. I saw her great potential and changed her. She has a very special power." Maria was proud of herself for finding a vampire with special vampires powers.

"So this is the one and only Maria. If you don't mind I would like to ask you to not hunt in this area. It would cause problems." Carlisle said. Alice looked at me and all I saw was worry. Everyone was worried. I used my power to try and calm the situation.

"How do you not hunt? Are you hunting now?" She was looked at my eyes with curiosity. I wished I could read her mind. Edward looked over. Can you tell me what she wants Edward. I thought. He nodded his head once. Does she love me. I asked him mentally. He nodded his head again. I looked away and thought thanks.

" Jasper can I see where you live? Maybe we can catch up. It's been so long." She frowned.

" I'm sorry Maria Alice and my family need to hunt and then we can speak. Of course you can see where me I and my family lives." I smiled at her. Edward spoke.

" No Maria we do not drink humans. Our eyes are this color because we are drinking animal blood." A look of shock came on her face. Joanne crouched protecting her.

" HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT!" Joanne pounced Edward just stood there. I didn't know what was happening. All I saw was Maria. It was like all I could see. I wanted to see Alice. I loved Alice. Maria in every color imaginable repeated a million times. Then it stopped. Everyone was looking at me. I mentally asked Edward what happened.

" Joanne attacked me and then when Bella ripped her off of me Joanne was looking at you and you kept mumbling Maria." I looked at Alice. She looked up. Her eyes were filled with betrayal.

" Alice......" She ran. I was about to run after her but Edward came in front of me.

"She thinks I love her! I have to go after her!" I yelled then I fell to my knees.

"She's going to go to the house. She is going to think. Give her time to calm down. She doesn't want to be bothered. Give her a hour Jasper." I stood up looked at Joanne.

" What did you do to me?" I looked over at Maria who was smiling.

" Joanne has the power to make up see whatever she wants. Similar to Zafrina's. You know her right. Only Joanne can only make you see one object or person. We found out recently that usually the person starts to mumble whatever she shows them. Interesting right?" She smiled...............
