Usually after school I walk home with Johnny but today we didn't. Instead my hand was in Ashton's and we walked the usual route home.
Even though I was having a great time I couldn't help but think about Johnny and how bad I felt.
Ashton suddenly stopped, he grabbed my chin and pulled it up so that I was looking at him.
"Kenz, don't think about him. I'm better for you"
I pull away from his grip. "But... he's my best friend"
Ashton shrugs, "I mean do what you want but when he hurts you again I will tell you that I told you so."
He grips my waist and pulls my in for a kiss. I kiss back.
"Leave her alone" I voice sounds. We break our kiss and see the old lady from this morning.
"I know you love that Johnny kid" she says to me, with a listen to me I'm old look.
Ashton grabs my hand and we continue walking.
"Old ladies" he says under his breath.

After dinner I get ready for bed, I usually lie in bed on my phone to 12 o'clock though.
