Chapter Sixteen.

***Zach's POV***

what do i mean to you Zach? am i your friend?  i don't guess so, do i even mean a thing to you?

the words she said kept replaying in my head. i couldn't answer her question. i can't, even if it meant losing her.

what was i supposed to tell her, i like you? I'm afraid of Cole stealing you from me? i can't spend a day without looking into your amazingly hazel eyes, or listening to your complains all day about-almost everything? or watching you trip over your clumsiness? definitely no.

i wanted to tell her that she means everything, that she's not just a friend because my stupid heart can't stop liking her. i wanted to tell her that it hurts when i see her with another guy. that i can't spend a day without her.

but then what?

i can't let my guards off-as i did before. i need to stop liking her, it's not healthy. all love brings is trouble and heart breaks. love is just broken promises. love is about two stupid lovers falling for each other, and in all relationships at the end something bad has to happen that will end everything, that will change the life of each of them- all that happiness they had when they were together changes into an awful sadness and desperation and it's all because of one thing, trust.

i trusted a person from the other gender before and it didn't work out really good. in fact, it destroyed me. it made me change and i won't let another girl do this to me.

but then what?

i can't stand a day without her, i can't stand a minute without her. she won't talk to me unless i tell her the truth. but then again, do i trust her? do i have enough courage to tell her my dark secret.

if that meant being with her again, so be it then.

i went to her bedroom and knocked on the door.

knock knock

no answer

knock knock

no answer

i opened the door and i saw her laying on her bed her face on her pillow. "Hey.." i said

"get out of my room!" she yelled.

"you need to listen to me."

"i won't listen to you unless you tell me why you hate Cole and what i mean to you."

"okay, i'm going to tell you everything."
