Like every monday morning, Andy woke up with a mood. He didn't like mornings, he felt like it should be illegal to get up before 10 am. Unfortunately, Andy had an 8 am lecture and this would be his last chance to ask his questions before the exam. He sighed and got up, making his way to the shower to at least look like he had had more than 4 hours of sleep last night.

After his shower and a quick breakfast, he made his way to college. He didn't live far from college, about ten minutes by bus, so he got there a lot sooner than he had hoped. He needed to be up for at least two hours to be able to talk to people. 8 am lectures never have him that kind of luxury.

Andy sighed when he walked in the building, immediately making his way to the coffee machine to give him a reason to get through the next hour. He impatiently waited for the people in front of him, sighing in relieve when he wrapped his hands around the warm cup. Coffee had saved him more than once from falling asleep in class and there was no doubt it would save him right now.

'Andy, right here!' Josy called the second he walked into the auditorium. Josy and Andy had kind of became study buddies along the way. They both worked hard and since most other students seemed to think alcohol and parties were more important than their future career, they always worked together. At first they only met to get some work done, but Andy was pretty sure they were starting to become friends too. He smiled at Josy and sat next to her, getting his laptop out of his bag and looking around for a bit before the lecture started.

They were about ten minutes in when someone interrupted. Andy looked at the boy who ran in, obviously out of breath. He shrugged when he recognized him as the boy he nearly had a fight with the other day. Andy liked to call that karma.

'Why are you smiling so early in the morning?' Josy whispered.

'I nearly had a fight with that guy the other day. I'm enjoying the fact he is suffering right now.' Andy whispered, still looking at the brown haired boy, who was now trying to get everything out of his bag without interrupting the lecture again.

'You mean Rye?'

'Rye?' Andy asked.

'Ryan Beaumont. That's the boy who just ran in and you can't seem to get your eyes off.'  Josy teased, forcing me to look at her instead of the brown haired boy, who apparently was called Rye.

'I don't blame you, he's hot,' Josy whispered, now giving Rye a quick look herself.

'He's a jerk.' Never had he met someone as disrespectful as Rye. His pretty face wasn't going to make up for his behavior. Andy started shaking his head, he was just another jerk.

Still, Andy couldn't help but glance at Rye throughout the lecture. Josy was right, he was hot. Even though Andy told himself he was a jerk multiple times, he couldn't help but admire his beauty as well. He sighed, now annoyed with himself. He shouldn't be this distracted by a pretty face.

'Your gay is showing,'  Josy softly laughed. Andy rolled with his eyes, but didn't look at her. Instead, his eyes were glued to his laptop. He was okay with his sexuality, he had found out about it when he was 13. Not because he had liked a boy, but because of a memory that had hit him that day. A memory that wasn't his, meaning it was his soulmates. He had been pretty upset about it back then, he had ran to his mom crying, but she had assured him there was nothing wrong with him. Besides, they didn't have control over the memories they shared with their soulmate, he was very sure his soulmate had never wanted to share that particular memory with him. What he wasn't okay with, was that he paid attention to this particular boy, he didn't deserve it.

He refused to look at Rye for the rest of the lecture, his eyes glued to his laptop until the lecture finally ended and people began packing their stuff to go to their next class. Andy sighed in relieve, collecting his stuff.

The rest of the day went by relatively easy. Thank god, he didn't see Rye again, making it much easier to forget about the boy. He had never been someone to like someone based on looks and he was not about to start doing that now. Besides, Andy was a hopeless romantic, he didn't want to be with a pretty face, he wanted to be with whoever was meant for him. And he was positive he wasn't meant to be with some jerk.
