Michel is on his death bed. The doctors say he has only a few hours left. Around him are his family none of which are willing to break the silence surrounding them. Then Michel starts to speak, he tells a story about a girl he once knew and about with one act of bravery, a pen and some paper changed the fate her fate and the fate of those around her
