I woke up early the next morning. I went downstairs to drink some water. I noticed someone sitting on the porch. So I walked to the door. Oh. It's that guy. He's here so early.
"Hey. Come inside"
He turned his head just as the sunlight hit his face. I'm stunned. He's glowing. Like seriously.
He smiled as he stood up and walked towards me. He was still looking intently at my eyes. That made me frozen in my place. His presence is so strong. He's so close to me.
"You go in first. "
"Oh. Right."
I blushed. I'm carried away by his perfection. I walked to the kitchen and he did too. I heard him chuckle behind me.
"What drink do you want? Coffee, tea or orange juice?"
"Orange juice will be great."
I prepared the 2 glasses of juice and the 4 toasted bread while he's sitting on the kitchen island chair.
He's watching me the whole time.
"Here."
I gave him his food and went to my room to eat mine. I can't stand to be near him any longer.
Halfway up the stairs. He called me.
"Thanks for this, Macy." And he flashed his perfect white teeth again.
I just smiled a little at him and continued to go up.
Why does he have to do that? Can't he see that I'm getting more awkward when he's around?
I waited a few more hours reading books in my room. Then I went outside to walk around neighborhood. I can't stay long in that house if he's always watching me when I'm around him.
My phone rang a few times and saw mom calling.
"Hon, where are you?"
"I'm just around.. Why?"
"Well, I'm going to ask if you can stop by a Chinese take out and order our lunch? Please honey"
"Okay. Sure."
"Do you have money with you?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks hon. Be back by noon okay?"
"Sure mom."
Then I hung up. I went to the near Chinese take out and bought the usual meal we order.
I went to a near convenience store to buy chips and drinks coz my friend will be over to watch movies with me.
As I was walking home, I saw him. That guy. He went inside a gate. So.. that's his house. I suppose. My eyes followed him and saw him hug a girl. Maybe that's his wife.
So what? I don't care. I walked straight home.
