Morgan's P.O.V:
*beep**beep*
'So, I just wanted to check you weren't drunk or anything when I asked you out last night. You still up for it?'
Drunk?! He knows me too well.
'Of course I still want to go on a date with you! What've you got planned?'
'That's a surprise, but seeing as I've got my learners permit, I'll pick you up at 6, dress casual ;)'
Well, I've never been told to dress casual for a date before? He's a strange one. What the hell do you wear to a date that's 'casual'?
I grabbed my phone and dialled Jade's number into Facetime. She picked up almost instantly, greeting me with her usual 'YOOO BITCHFACE!'.
"Jade, I need your help on a casual date outfit. Don't ask about the casual bit, blame Michael.."
"HE ASKED YOU OUT?! WHY AM I ONLY JUST KNOWING THIS, MORGAN JESUS MAN!"
"Mate, shut up! He asked me at half two this morning, it was pretty surreal."
"Aw that's so cute!! So, where's he taking you, because I really don't understand this whole casual dress thing - what does that even mean? Right, go with that cute peach cami top thing, with your black kimono, you know, the one with the flowers that I like.."
"As in the one you've knicked?" I said, laughing.
"Oh shit yeah, okay, go with the cute black one with the frilly bits on the sleeves, and the high waisted shorts that I also need to borrow!"
"You're the best!" I said, as I started trying my outfit on, "This is perfect!"
"Meet me at Costa in 30 minutes. Pre-date prep." Jade said, winking, then cut me off.
That's the thing I love about her, she's always there to help me. I grabbed my peach converse from my shoe rack, put my Hello Kitty case on my phone, and emptied the contents of my money pot into my purse.
My phone vibrated it and I glanced at the screen.
'@michaelsutthako: looking forward to tonight with @slutforlxrry, should be good;)'
Within seconds, my mentions had blown up and my phone was lagging. I tried to scroll through all these new tweets. There were some really sweet ones telling us to have a good time, and saying that MICHAEL was the lucky one, but then I got to some really harsh ones.
'Go die, Michael's mine.' 'You're ugly, why's Michael seeing you?' 'Open a vein, BITCH!'
My eyes stung as tears rolled down my face, why me? I knew I'd get hate for seeing Michael, but I didn't think it would be this bad. I can't handle it.
I scrolled down my contact list until I got to Mike, and pressed 'call'. He answered, and before I could say anything, I felt myself choking on my tears.
"Morgan? Morgan, can you hear me? What's going on?!" Michael said, frantically.
"I can't do this Mike, I'm sorry. People on twitter, they said things. I can't do this." I cried, and then ended the call.
Two minutes later, my phone had filled with texts from Mike. I didn't want to hurt Mike, but I've never been able to handle nasty comments.
My phone rang. It was Mike. I couldn't answer it.
The ringing stopped and I threw my phone on my bed, and fell to the floor in tears.
The phone rang again, and again, and again.
I couldn't keep ignoring him. This isn't his fault.
I recovered my phone from my bed, and accepted the call.
"Hello." I whispered.
"Morgz, please please PLEASE don't listen to them. I want to be with you, and they're not going to stop me. You're the one I want, please don't bail on me because of them." He pleaded.
"I want to be with you too Mike, but what they said isn't something I want to live with. Of course I'm still coming out with you tonight, but I don't think it should be broadcast over twitter. They're spiteful."
"Okay, okay. Morgan, I'm sorry." I heard his voice cracking as he spoke.
"Oh God, don't you start!" I said, laughing away the tears.
"Thank you Morgz, you won't regret this, I promise! See you soon, okay?"
"Okay."
"Oh my God, stop flirting with me!" Michael chuckled, then terminated the call.
I imidiately went on to twitter, again scrolling through my mentions. Even though there were a bunch of sick comments, most of them were messages of happiness, especially from my friends in the fandom. Most of them are actually really supportive.
I opened up the text box to type a new tweet.
'@slutforlxrry: Can't wait for tonight #cutedate <3'
I can't show signs of weakness. I need this to work out.
I locked my phone, and tossed it into my bag, and kissed my mum on the cheek, before leaving the house and made my way towards town.
It only took 5 minutes to walk there, and Jade was already waiting, but she greeted me with a friendly hug.
"I saw Mike's tweet!! How cute!!" Jade said.
I blushed. "Yeah, but did you see the replies. Some of them were harsh as!"
I shrugged it off.
"Anyway, I've got some 'Jaiden' gossip for you!!" Jade shouted, excitedly, "He DMed me yesterday on Twitter saying he couldn't wait to see me at your party, AND he said he that I'd be a let down if I didn't dance with him for the whole night!"
I smiled at her. Jade loves Aiden more than Dan loves KFC, it's weird, but really cute.
We ordered our drinks and sat down with them on the comfy sofa seats in Costa. We sat for over an hour discussing the possibilites of my date night with Mike.
It's going to be so perfect, I can just feel it.
