I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off, indicating that it was time for me to wake up. I swung my legs over the side of my bed and quickly ran into the bathroom connected to my room. I stood in the mirror while taking off my clothes and I quickly examined my naked body in the mirror before turning on the shower. I stepped in as the warm water hit my tense body instantly calming me.
After showering I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Then I exited the bathroom. I walked over to my closet to choose a outfit. I chose a pink crop top with the word 'DOPE' on it, with a pair of blue jeans and some pink high top vans. I grabbed my phone, keys, and clutch before exiting my room.
I walked down the stairs and into my kitchen to see my younger brother Jason sitting at the kitchen counter on his phone. "Morning, sis" he said. "Wassup" I said. "You never say good morning" he said, "I know I don't like saying good morning" I said. "Come on you gone be late" I said. I walked to the door and opened it as he followed me out.
My parents both died in a car wreck which left me to raise my younger brother Jason. He's been in so much trouble lately its so hard to take care of him. I miss my mom so much, she always knew what to do.
We both walked out to my car and got in. Before I pulled off I plugged in my phone to the aux and played Be Careful by Cardi B.
I sung along as I glided along the expressway, my brother sat beside me on his phone. He has always been a techno geek but he's popular. Once we arrived at his school he kissed my cheek and got out. I pulled off and drove to my job.
I own a café called 'The Lounge' I've been owning it since I turned 17. My parents owned the café but when they died it was passed down to me.
I walked into the café and went straight to my office to get myself situated. Until one of my workers Shantell bursted in. "Makai, is laying on the bathroom floor unconscious" she said. "What" I said getting up from my seat and running to the bathroom.
We called an ambulance to get her. Since we didn't have anyone to cover her I had to.
