Return To Planet Earth: a place we used to call home

Chapter one

Jordan woke up out of his antique bed covered in batman. He adored batman so much but it seemed like he is the only one who does. Batman is very out dated and heroes now popular are heroes like galactic boy and other ridiculous names.

Jordan puts on a pair of the latest Nike galactic, a pair of skinny jeans and a black t-shirt and he uses his telepod to get to school. Jordan never liked school much he chose to stay quite in the back while everyone else jabbered about the latest gadgets and their trips to Mars Mall is the biggest mall in the division. But Jordan did not care about that; Jordan does not care about much anyways. Jordan took his usual seat in the back of the history class and doodled in his notebook.

A stream of students who flowed noisily into the class once everyone was settled the teacher began to speak interrupted his silence

“Good morning students I have some news for you we will be doing a project” she said in an overly happy tone you could hear the students groan about the work

“Oh its not that bad, I will put you in groups and you can choose any historical site or historical event so here are your groups” she said as she grabbed a list off of her table and began to read out pairs Jordan didn’t pay attention to until his name came up

“Jordan Stone and Imogen Whitely” she finally read out

Jordan turned his head toward the girl dressed in all black and metal accessories

“So I’m Jordan,” he said trying to break the tension

“Imogen but call me Imo, so what do you want to do with this thing,” she said sounding uninterested

“I don’t know I was think a report on the galactic founding fathers” he said nervously you see Imogen looked at people in a way that would make them squirm

“ I have an even better idea lets do it on this place we once called home” she said and paused for a while an stated again “lets do it on a place called earth” she said with an evil smile Jordan knew why she smiled like that. No one ever spoke of earth and if you searched it on the Internet you would get filtered searches. No one ever talked about earth rumor had it if you spoke too much about earth you could get arrested but Jordan dismissed these thoughts

“I don’t know there isn’t not much information on that and no one ever talks about it we could get in trouble for it” he said in a panicked tone

‘‘Trouble schmubble it doesn’t mean anything” she said you could tell from her tone of voice that she didn’t care about getting into trouble, while Jordan on the other hand was as scared as can be.

“What its not like we can get in trouble its part of our history!” she exclaimed

“I guess you have a point,” Jordan said confidently but you could still sense the cautiousness in his voice. They spent the lesson going over how they would find information on Earth. The bell rang interrupting their conversation

“Hey Jordan do you want to come over to my house after school to do the project” she said there was a moment of silence “I mean you don’t have to if you don’t want to” she stuttered and for the first time in her life nervous.

“Oh yeah sure lets meet at the front of the school” he said smiling at her. Jordan left the classroom with a smile on his face. He got to talk to Goth girl and she didn’t hurt him or insult him and she happens to look kind of cute. But he quickly shook those thoughts out of his head knowing that there would be no chance of them getting together.

The rest of the day passed as a blur to Jordan he barely paid attention in  any of his classes he spent the day thinking about a  girl who had the same blue green eyes that earth once looked like but he hoped the life wont leave her  eyes like it did to earth.

the bell rang  and Jordan quickly left the classroom and made his way to the front of the school  thinking about a certain blue eyed girl.  he got to the front of the school and he scanned the crowd of students for her and she instantly stood out in her black metallic  attire. he made his way too her eager  to see her and spend time with her.
