Oliver sat it a hospital chair, staring at the unconscious body belonging to Leena Jones. Dinah sat beside him, crying on Tommy's shoulder. Oliver knew who had done this to her. China White. She may not have laid a hand on Leena herself, but she was the reason that Leena was attacked. She had probably sent one of her men after she found who had accessed the location. All of this was happening because of Oliver, and it made him all the more eager to stop Vertigo. So he would. Tonight.

Oliver stood up abruptly and walked out of the hospital. He made his way over to John Diggle's car and got in the back.

"Your friends coming?" he asked.

"Nope. Can we run by and get a pizza?"

"I could do for a pizza" the bodyguard said, starting the car.

"So, what am I supposed to call you? Other than babysitter."

"Diggle's fine. But let me make one thing clear."

Diggle looked back to where Oliver was sitting. He was gone. John Diggle quickly pulled over, got out, and swore to himself. Oliver was nowhere to be seen.

--

Oliver had run from the hospital all the way back to the mansion. He assumed his babysitter was still out looking for him. He quietly climbed the stairs and entered his room.

He got to his knees and brought out a wooden box that he had put under his bed. He had made perfectly sure that no one saw the box on his return from the island. He flipped in the combination and opened the long box. He reached in and grabbed the green hood that was laying on top. Oliver had gotten it on the island, but he preferred not to think about it. It was a story for another day. He also took out a bow and quiver that stashed green-tipped arrows.

He hadn't been alone on the island the entire time. He had learned how to defend himself with what he had, which happened to be a bow. Now he would use it to stop China White.

--

Oliver approached the warehouse with caution. He now wore the make-shift green suit and hood that he had made during his time at Lian Yu. His accuracy with a bow and arrow had grown immensely during his time on the island. It wasn't easy, surviving there. Oliver didn't get 20% of his tissue scarred from wild animals. It was much worse than that.

After making sure no one was watching, Oliver quietly entered the warehouse. He heard screaming, but he knew that rushing in blindly would be a bad idea, even with a bow this time. Oliver went up a staircase to the right of the door and came out above all of the commotion.

After trying several doors, Oliver came out on a balcony where he could see everything. A man stood in front of a man and a woman tied to chairs. Several men with guns stood behind him.

"You can call me Hackett," the man said. "I apologize for the rough transportation that brought you here, but it is rather important that you be here. I'm expecting someone."

"Who?" the man in the chair asked.

Hackett punched the man and he screamed out.

"Did I tell you that you could speak?" he punched the man again, knocking him out.

Then Oliver realized who the unconscious man was. It was Tommy. Which would make the woman beside him Dinah. Then it came to Oliver. They were waiting for him.

Oliver dropped down and shot an arrow into Hackett's back. He howled and ripped it out. His men turned and starting firing at Oliver, who jumped and rolled away. He shot an arrow at one of the men, who fell to the ground. Two more started to rush at Oliver from either side. Oliver slid beneath them causing them run into each other. He grabbed another man and used him as a meat shield to the man who had a machine gun. Oliver dropped his meat shield and jumped towards the wall, kicking out and tackling the machine gun man. He rapidly shot four arrows, each hitting their mark. He grabbed two men and banged their heads together. They both dropped, leaving only Hackett left. He had brown hair and inquiring blue eyes. Oliver aimed an arrow towards him in case he tried anything.

"Impressive," he said in his British accent. "But did you really think that Vertigo would keep it's operations here after the incident of you finding us? Vertigo is long gone now, this is just an abandoned warehouse."

Oliver shot an arrow into the rope binding Dinah. He shot another one, freeing the still-unconscious Tommy.

"Go," Oliver said in as deep of a voice as he could muster. He didn't want anyone knowing his identity.

Dinah carried Tommy out of the warehouse. Oliver kept an arrow pointed at Hackett.

"So," Hackett said once Dinah was gone. "You learn that on the island?"

"I'm not stupid," he added when he saw the look on Oliver's hooded face. "I can put two and two together."

"You know my identity then. I can't let you live," Oliver said.

"I was going to say the exact same thing," Hackett ducked as Oliver's arrow whizzed by.

Hackett pulled a metal bar from the warehouse and used it to knock Oliver's bow out of his hand. He swung it again at Oliver's face, but Oliver caught it. He twisted Hackett's arm using the metal bar and it went flying away, hitting the floor with a loud, metallic, clank. Hackett swung at Oliver, who ducked and grabbed Hackett's arm, swinging him into the floor.

Hackett recovered quickly, however, swinging his feet into Oliver's knocking Oliver down as well. Hackett jumped up and kicked Oliver, who slid across the floor. Hackett picked up the metal bar and pointed it at Oliver.

"Now, I'm afraid it's time for you to-" Hackett was cut off. He looked down to find an arrow stuck in him.

Oliver had fallen beside his bow and had shot an arrow before Hackett could swing the bar. Oliver got to his feet and shot another arrow into Hackett, who toppled over. He didn't get back up.

Oliver swung his quiver back over his back and started towards the exit of the now truly-abandoned warehouse.

"Sorry," he said as he left. "But no one can know my secret."
