"Alright no one is here, no one can get hurt. Let's fight." Bucky said in a fighting stance.
"I thought you were going to lecture me." I said confused but got into a fighting stance as well. Bucky came swinging which I managed to avoid due to my spidey senses.
"I was but no one else has had any luck, so I figured let's fight." Bucky said and I was still confused, he managed to kick me off my feet.
"This is really your solution? To fight for no reason?" I asked getting up and he nodded.
"Yeah, I mean why not?" He asked and I ran towards him. He stepped to the side and held out his metal arm, which I ran straight into. I fell back holding my face.
"That was very stupid of me." I groaned and Bucky shook his head.
"You were able to beat me the first time we met. Why is this time different?" He asked sitting down next to me.
"I don't have any more webs, and even if I did there's nothing to attach them to. Also we're in a different setting where I'm not trying to hurt you." I said and he shook his head.
"Sure but that's not the only reason." He said and I scrunched up my face in confusion.
"What do you mean?" I asked and he sighed.
"What was the first thing you did that surprised me?" He asked and I stopped to think.
"I stopped your punch? Kicked you through glass? I don't know." I said and he looked down.
"The punch is what surprised me. How did you stop it?" Bucky asked, what was the point again?
"Strength? Banter? Shock?" I asked and he nodded slightly.
"Yes, but it wasn't just that, you stopped my punch because of something else." Bucky said and I sighed. What was he talking about?
"Then how?" I asked tiredly and he frowned.
"It was different then." He said and I was annoyed that he wouldn't just tell me already.
"Different how?" I asked and he smiled. Was he finally going to just be blunt?
"Back then you had a clear goal, was it a good goal? Not really, but you were fighting for something. Now you know who fights the best when they have a clear goal?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Tony. He never gives up, and you said you wanted to be like him right?" He asked and I nodded.
"Then don't stop fighting. You're smart, I'm sure you can help us find away out of here. You just need a clear goal. Now whose out there that you miss the most?" He asked.
"May." I said and he smiled.
"Alright, your new goal is to get out of here to see May. Now you can't do that by moping around, so let's go meet up with everyone. We have a meeting today." Bucky said getting up and offered me a helping hand, which I took.
"Hey, what's your goal?" I asked and he smiled sadly.
"My goal, try and see Steve one last time. I'd be surprised if I get to see him alive. That bastard will probably sacrifice himself to save us. So we need to get out before it comes to that." Bucky said and I knew he was right. I also knew that Tony would probably do that too.
"Well we better hurry, we both have stupid self sacrificing idiots to see again." I said and he smiled, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like myself. The old Peter.
